  • Nestled in the middle of Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, Carrot Top Cottage is just steps off the Appalachian Trail and a short walk to the world-renowned attractions of Harpers Ferry.The Carriage House is compact but comfortable. You’ll love the grass patio area where you can relax under the Paw-paw tree

Wonderful location. Very peaceful and convenient for everything we wanted to do on our trip. Enjoyed all the deer while sitting outside the cottage reading.

We were very pleased with our accommodations. This cozy little cottage was just perfect for our short stay.Beautifully appointed and clean!It had everything you needed. The convenient parking was a plus.The rainfall shower was great! Super water pressure!We were able to walk to the railroad station and hiked along the Potomac tow path.Can’t go wrong booking this little retreat!

This cute little cottage (a converted carriage house) was perfect for my stay in Harper's Ferry. The cottage was well maintained, clean and cozy. I would definitely stay there again - particularly if I came in a car (it is near the top of a tall hill, and I came by bike off the C&O towpath, which was a climb!). Notes: (1) there are two rentals with the same address, a house and this carriage house out back. I had a mildly embarrassing moment when I showed up and tried to enter the wrong house. (2) as a converted carriage house, it's small - think hotel room - but nonetheless wonderfully appointed and maintained. All said, a cozy and comfortable place that I would definitely stay in again.

Space was very clean and smelled great! Came with everything we needed, bed and even couch were super comfy. The shower was amazing, the handheld sprayer was a great touch. Short walk to downtown, coffee and restaurants. Loved the guidebook the host sent prior to check in that recommended things to do and places to eat. Would love to come back and book this again on an anniversary trip!

This is a tiny place but you can't beat the location! There's not much room for hanging out, but if you're a single or couple simply looking for a clean home base within reasonable walking distance to attractions, this is it!

Cozy and location

This small little cottage was just the right size for our stay. The location was perfect being beside the Appalachian trail and waking up to deer every morning.

In the middle of everything!

Great location to see all Harpers Ferry has to offer with out worrying about where to leave your car :) Clean, comfortable and just as advertised.

Great time

My wife and I had a fantastic time. Very warm and cozy cottage. Walking distance to everything, but tucked away enough to enjoy your privacy. Would definitely stay with them again.
