Welcome to Sweet Retreat—a delightful 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom cottage nestled in a peaceful seaside neighborhood, offering access to the tranquil, pebbled shores of Merriconeag Sound. Located just 1.5 miles from the scenic Pott's Point Preserve and 1.3 miles from Stover's Cove Beach, this charming home is the perfect base for coastal adventures—whether it's exploring nature trails or enjoying a refreshing swim. Local seafood enthusiasts will enjoy nearby Erica's Seafood (3.6 miles) and the Dolphin Marina & Restaurant (3.7 miles), both offering fresh, delicious catches. After a day of exploration, unwind on the sunporch and bask in the soft afternoon light.

Inside, Sweet Retreat features a well-equipped kitchen for home-cooked meals, a dining area that seats six, and a cozy reading nook. The sun-drenched living room seamlessly opens to the sunporch, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Upstairs, you'll find three inviting bedrooms: two with queen beds and one with two twin beds, offering comfort for families or groups. The second floor also features a full bathroom with a shower, a small powder room off the landing of the stairs, and an additional full bathroom in the basement with a shower/tub combo.

Step outside to enjoy a spacious, fenced-in yard perfect for outdoor games or relaxation. A propane grill is available for al fresco dining, and a small covered porch with a garden area adds to the charm of the property. The deeded water access is just a 4-minute walk away, providing easy access to the water where you can watch lobster boats pass by, hauling their daily catch while overlooking the scenic Orr's & Bailey Islands.

Check in was easy. Communication was excellent. The house was clean and appointed as described. Location was fantastic for exploring Harpswell area trails, Land Trust areas, and waterfront eateries. Also within range for day trips to enjoy chartered ocean and lighthouse cruises. We enjoyed our stay.
