“Driftwood is one of a set of barn conversion cottages way off the beaten track and just a few minutes walk away from the South-West Coast path. It was an ideal base for us to walk a new stretch of coastline which is as good as any of the parts of the UK coastline that we have walked before. Other families and couples were around but we hardly heard or saw any of them and you could hear a pin drop overnight, such was the tranquillity of the place.
