Fuss free check in, first floor room in typical Greene King style. Reasonably clean and tidy with everything set out for single guest (only 2 pillows, 2 tea bags, 2 milk sachets....) “We arrived around 4:30, the carpark was busy and the restaurant really busy - wasn’t an issue for us as we were going out. The reception is away from the hustle and bustle of the bar/ restaurant which was good. The room was big enough, but the beds are really small. My husband had to go and ask for another room (on his own) as the double was bearly wide enough for both of us, let alone long enough. … so if you are over 5’8 you will struggle. “Good : Easy to find, great comms, generally very clean indeed, quality of bathroom (great shower) and general decor far exceeded my expectation. Bad : False fire alarm at 4.30am, used underwear and socks from.previous guest in a drawer.”
