“My niece stayed at Joia in March 2026 and it did not disappoint. We were greeted with wash clothes to wipe our hands and was then given a yummy drink that had ginger in it. The lobby was beautiful. “Marriott property was lovely but unfortunately we came home and found out we contracted a bacterial infection common with traveling. Typically picked up through water or food. Would consider the Marriott not tell guests water is always safe. Maybe consider giving each guest in the room a bottle of water at 500ml instead of 3 smaller bottles. Found it strange that are room had four guest but only received 3 bottles. Finally would recommend not having water stations filled with cut fruit. Looks...

“A perfect spot if you feel like you want an escape away from the busy tourist areas. You will need a car, but it is nicely centrally located so it felt easy to visit attractions on every corner of the island. The hosts were very communicative, but also felt like I had total privacy. The kitchenette was nice for basic cooking. Plunge pool was a very nice touch. Overall a great value!”

“I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times (5–6 visits) and always had a great experience, which is why this situation is so disappointing.
I was charged for a restaurant bill at 7:09 AM on the day of my arrival, even though my flight landed at 1:55 PM — clearly impossible.
I contacted both accounting and management and provided full proof, but no one has responded for 10 days.
It appears a simple mistake was made, but instead of resolving it, they are ignoring the issue. Very disappointing...

“This place was a true hidden gem in all of Aruba. The owners are lovely people and extremely friendly. This is a beautiful property, with a lot of things you would not expect to see. Very clean, very safe, and very accommodating. We truly had an amazing time and we only stayed one night. Bravo!”
