“Destination fee of $50, and credit of $25 to food and beverages, or other souvenir does not make any sense. Staff were very helpful, Sera restaurant was very good.”

“The elevator situation is terrible. Long lines to get to your room. It seemed like only 3 worked. There was no escalator’s working so you had to wait for elevator or take stairs. Convenient place between mall and convention center and rooms were okay. We stayed in an Ocean View room but it really was “ocean partial view”.”

“Excellent service, great location but our room view is slightly blocked by another hotel. Still stunning. There are some insects in the room or on the bed; I have been bitten and have many bumps.”

“It’s a very nice hotel. Check-in was smooth, which was a huge help. Since we were on a lower floor above the pool bar, we could hear various noises, and the view would have been better from a higher floor. The bathroom was spacious, and it was convenient that the shower and bathtub were separate. The bed and amenities were also excellent.”

“The hotel is under heavy renovation/construction which causes a lot of noise and issues. One day the hot water was off from 10 am to 3 pm. To get from the rooms to the front desk you have to walk through a roped off path beside a large area where the workers are working, which will be the lobby. The staff gave us an upgrade to reduce the noise and accommodated early check in. The room was exceptionally beautiful with all of the modern features. “Staff was very attentive and polite. The resort sits right in the middle of Waikiki. Only down side was meals were less than filling. For the cost I feel that the food and portion size were small. Breakfast was very unsatisfying however the restaurant called Eggs & Things is only two doors down. Overall stay was 4.5 star”

“The property is located in a wonderful area where you can walk to multiple places to eat and play on the sandy beach. The Monkeypod was yummy! The room was roomy and comfortable. Having a Starbucks in the building was amazing!”

“We're a local family and have stayed at the Hokulani twice in the last 6 months. It's definitely our new favorite and have zero complaints about the accommodations. Everything is great, from the bathroom to the kitchen. Just enough for everything you need for a stay with children or just two people. Overall satisfied with both stays so far and will likely be booking again.”
