Situato in una magnifica posizione all'interno del Parco Nazionale di Dales, con vista su Gayle Beck e sulle cascate, questa proprietà per vacanze risale al 1800 circa e faceva parte originariamente del settore di stoccaggio e maglieria associato al vicino Gayle Mill.

Situato vicino al Pennine Way, c'è un'eccellente camminata direttamente dalla porta sia per l'escursionista che per il camminatore serio e nella vivace città mercantile di Hawes, a 10 minuti a piedi, ci sono molti negozi, pub e ristoranti che offrono un ampia varietà di scelte per soddisfare ogni palato. Sempre a Hawes puoi visitare il Dales Folk Museum, i produttori di ropemaker, le ceramiche o la famosa Wensleydale Creamery.

Yarn House è in posizione ideale per visitare le valli locali, il Lake District, York, Northumberland e le case storiche, i castelli e le abbazie dello Yorkshire.

We had a great stay here and really enjoyed the area and the property. My only two things to flag that I would have changed. Were it was only very near our stay that we were informed we would need to bring our own towels. We felt this should have been highlighted before booking. And we were disappointed that there was no milk to start us off as it is quite a rural area and we arrived later in the evening.

6 of us travelled from Scotland to Gayle and we all had a fantastic time during our time in Yorkshire. I thought that the cottage might be a little far away from the main street in Hawes but it wasn't a problem. The only thing that we couldn't find was an iron. We found the board but not the iron. That's all

The location was amazing just what my friend and I needed, perfect for budding artists. The beds were very comfortable and an amazing array of cooking implements which is not always the case. We felt a great deal of thought had been put into making it a home from home stay.

A really lovely place to stay. We walked the 3 peaks and needed a cottage close to the route. The house was very comfortable, well stocked and very clear and helpful instructions. Lots of parking just round the corner. Also very close to Hawes with plenty of shops and food options. Perfect for us!

Good location, cozy, well-equipped. Decent parking nearby. No noise from neighbours. 15 minute stroll to Hawes High Street. Limited space outdoors so no space for children to play outside. Easily accommodated 6 adults and 2 children.

We really loved Yarn House! Three generations came to celebrate my mums birthday and we had the best weekend! Everything you need is there and the house itself is wonderful! The sound of the river was so relaxing and the short walk down into the village was very pleasant. We can’t wait to come back!

We were pleasantly surprised by how good the accommodation in Yarn House is: the property is fully-equipped with top-quality equipment and appliances throughout, and the preparation/cleanliness was excellent. We would definitely recommend this property to others, and hope to stay there again in the future.

We had a fantastic week in Gayle. Parking was easy and only a few yards away from the front door. The house was comfortable and exactly as shown in the pictures. Hawes is literally a 10 minute walk away from downtown Hawes. There are several really delicious places to eat in Hawes. There are plenty of walks right from the house. And more places within a short drive to explore. We highly recommend this house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely spot. It was in a great location for exploring the Dales, and was very well-equipped and comfortable. We loved the Christmas decorations! Only downside was no towels provided.

Would recommend to anyone, the house was perfect and the location was beautiful, we had an fantastic stay and local amenities were great. The house had everything you needed, plenty of space and was like being at home, comfortable and relaxing. The river and little waterfalls right outside the front door was amazing. Would love to go again!! Communication with the owners was spot on. Thank you for our wonderful stay!!!

Plenty of space. Comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen. Nearby parking. 9 mins walk to Hawes. Picturesque views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking again for next year.
