"Room was compact but comfortable, the bed especially comfortable. Best in room coffee ever! TV was impossible to sort out, HUGE but useless. A leak from toilet cabinet meant floor was wet most of the time, and was reported to manager, I'm sure it'll be fixed for next people. Pub is oozing with atmosphere, ..."

Stone House Hotel
"The Hotel has a lot of character and is in a beautiful location in the Dales. We watched lambs playing in the field as we had breakfast. There are great walks on to the Dales or down to the river from the front door. The staff were very friendly, and we had a lovely restful stay."

"Had another great stay at this cottage, third time back here so that says something. Quirky but great, stairs may be an issue to elderly or less mobile. Excellent position in the town with parking right outside. Shops, cafes and pubs within 100 yards. Fantastic fish & chip shop just across the road. ..."

Orton Hall, Royalist Suite
"Host was excellent with communication. We had an issue with one of the pull out single beds which was resolved quickly by the host. Would definitely recommend and the access to the North Lakes Spa was a highlight for our trip!"
