The peaceful nearby hamlet of Cavers offers a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, surrounded by rolling farmland and a myriad of tracks and trails to explore on foot or two wheels. Famous as the heart of Scotland's cashmere and knitwear industry, Hawick (2.5 miles) is home to the Borders Textile Towerhouse which delves into the region's weaving history, while Wilton Lodge Park (3.5 miles) offers beautiful gardens, riverside walks, and a museum showcasing regional art and history. For more local appeal, the picturesque villages of Denholm and Bonchester Bridge are both within 5 miles of the property.
Hang your coats and kick off shoes in the entrance hall before heading into the light and airy, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner at the heart of this home-away-from-home. Featuring a bold colour palette that reflects the vibrancy of your surrounding scenery, as well as plenty of homely touches, this light-filled social space is bursting with elegance.
