Country Cottage Apartment

  • Come and stay in this charming country cottage apartment that overlooks the potager garden! The basement apartment is completely separate from the rest of the house with a private entrance and your own patio with outdoor dining and barbecue. Watch a variety of wildlife visit the garden right out your window! Your kids will enjoy our complimentary 200ft zip line & 80ft rope swing. The property, while in the country, is conveniently located minutes from restaurants, Silverwood Theme Park, Hayden Lake and Honeysuckle Beach. There are also 4 ski resorts nearby!

    You'll find games, books and toys for the kids in the apartment. The cottage apartment is in a walk out basement of the house so you will hear walking around from upstairs and some plumbing. The apartment is newly remodeled and extra insulation was included to make your stay as quiet as possible. A family of six lives above the apartment. The kitchen has a microwave, oven and stove top, cookie sheet, muffin tin, mixing bowls, measuring cups ect. Oven fits a large 14" pizza. The washer and dryer can be used but detergent is not provided. The Roku TV is capable of logging into your streaming services. The road is a quiet country road that makes for a great walk. There is a lot of wildlife nearby. If you stroll down the road to the top of the hill and look north in the morning you may just see the local elk herd grazing in the meadow.

Great place to stay when visiting Silverwood

Very clean and nice furniture, dishes and cookware. Host was accommodating when we needed a coffee maker instead of a Keurig.

Fantastic apartment!

Our family of 5 was very comfortable here. It was just minutes to Triple Play and some great restaurants. It was very private and the only noise we could hear above was occasional footsteps. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Ambiance

Pure bliss after long days out with my family of 5. Relaxing on the patio section watching the sun go down admiring the landscape was top tier. Very cute place. Location was great. About 15 minutes from the theme park and 7 minutes to Belle's Brunch House. 10/10!

Great Stay!

The host was friendly and responsive, the space was clean and spacious, everything was well appointed and comfortable. There was so much care and fun in the way things were decorated! I will definitely try to come back in the future!

Quaint hideaway

What a fantastic little gem of a spot! We didn’t originally have plans to be here, but rerouted our trip a bit to stay here. Boy, did we luck up! The space was fitting for our family of 6. Although kitchen space was available, we ate out while visiting. We would definitely come back if in the area!

A tidy Hobbit Hole

The rental is in the basement of the home. It’s well furnished and clean, Tolkien themed. Strongly recommend the rental, but be aware that only the queen bedroom is actually separated. If you have snorers, plan accordingly.

The place was cute

Overall it was fine. Def had issues. The hidabed mattress protector was covered in urine spots. So we had to wash it. The fridge even though it was working it wasn’t super cold. So we had to use our cooler there were dust bunnies everywhere! So we had to clean.

Great place… unclear check in location

The place was clean, suitable for our needs and perfect location and size. We had trouble knowing where to check in as the pictures show the front door of the owners residence. I think it might be clearer if there are pictures of the entry to the apartment and location of parking in original listing as I didn’t know it was the downstairs of this residence. The check in instructions on the app didn’t state the specifics that are in the email. Great owner very responsive and kind.

13th Birthday at Silverwood

Scott, the host was so understanding and willing to accommodate a last minute date change due to the wildfire activity preventing us from traveling to Idaho. In the end, I90 opened up and we had a great time at Silverwood. The Accommodation is really a short drive away from the park and there is a cute and friendly drive-through coffee place right on the corner before you hit the highway. The house and gardens look like they were taken right out of a fairytale and placed there, for your enjoyment. It even had a gramophone with "old time" classic records that we listened to while playing cards at the kitchen table. Will definitely be back.

During a very difficult time, we needed a place to stay. The home is beautiful, clean, and so tranquil. We enjoyed our stay and everything we needed was provided. My granddaughters loved the cats they were so excited that they could pet them. Also thank you for allowing them to pick raspberries. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
