Hello, We are sorry to hear that you had several concerns with the room. We are a very old building and in keeping with this. We are aware of several areas which require refurbishment, which we commit to do the work required in the new year. We would have attempted to move your room if we were made aware. We are extremely sorry to have missed your calls and can assure you the duty manager at night responds to all calls via a mobile facility. We do close the hotel if guests have retired at 11pm and lock the front door posting a contact number for guests to call. I have checked the mobile phone records for the night of the 20th July and there are no missed calls. We offer our most sincere apologies and if you didnt stay on the 20th could you please advise so we can invesigate further

All of our rooms are completely different and are auto allocated. The one on Expedia is a deluxe double whichg is a family room. Thank you for taking the time to review Highley Manor

Unfortunately, your reservation was cancelled and confirmation of this concellation was sent via Expedia as this is who you booked with, who in turn should have informed you as we have no details on you as you booked directly with them. We apologise for the inconvience this caused.

Dear Guest We are sorry to hear that your stay was not satisfactory. Did you raise your concern to the staff prior to leaving? We staff our hotel with a Duty Manager during the evening, if the hotel has high occupancy levels then more staff are on shift to assist with service etc
