Chalet a Hedgesville

“We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful house in the woods! The home was peaceful, cozy, and the perfect place for our family to get away and spend quality time together. The surrounding scenery was beyond and we met the nicest people at the community pools .The house is extremely comfortable, welcoming, and had everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved the quiet, wooded setting and the surrounding scenery was beautiful and made the whole stay feel like a true escape. The...

“Everything was wonderful, except the hot tub chemicals, when you turn on the jets it makes your eyes burn. Other people in my party said the same thing.Communication with host was effortless, response to questions was within minutes. A ”

“Cute, quaint and quiet little cabin not too far off the beaten path.I will definitely stay again”

“Just an overnight stay. On our way back home from northern New York. The place was nice. It is peaceful sitting on the deck. The check in process was a little tedious with various emails and downloads required. The Backstep is a little sketchy. Be careful walking in. Overall the place was nice”

“If you’re looking for a quiet peaceful cabin to just go get lost in the world of your significant other, this is the place to go! They’re far enough from the everyday life but still close enough to enjoy all the beauty of their charming city!! The food is to die for and definitely a reason for us to return!! Nothing bad to say at all except they need larger hot water tanks bc when I’m enjoying my wife that includes sharing a shower that we would have preferred not to be rushed out of!! Otherwise...

“The pictures on the listing were not accurate in representing the state of the current state of the house. The fence in the back is wire with stakes and not a fence. One of the main reasons we selected the cabin and the deck was a mess. The place was clean except there was an old pair of previous visitors' underpants on the sofa. The neighborhood dogs got out of their fence and aggressively chased us down 3 times, and other dogs down the road would chase our car. The next-door neighbors' trash...

“Check-in went smoothly and good communication from the host. Inside the cabin was clean for the most part and relaxing. The master bed was saggy in the middle, but I brought to thier attention so hopefully they fix it. The outside pictures didn't match the photos. The cabin definitely could used some TLC. The grass needed mowed, but it was very peaceful. We seen some wildlife and the neighborhood was quite. It was probably 15 minutes from dollar general and 30 minutes from anything else. All and...

“It was a great time, clean cute cabin. You Def need an SUV or 4x4 to get up the lane. Perfect peaceful weekend away but close enough to town for supplies. ”
