La storia della casa in cui si trova l'appartamento nel 2 ° Al piano superiore e ultimo piano, si estende fino al 15 Secolo indietro. A quel tempo la casa del forestale del castello era situata qui. La casa si trova nel centro della città vecchia nelle immediate vicinanze della Heiliggeistkirche, del municipio e della piazza del mercato e sul bordo esterno dell'area pedonale. Offre quindi tutti i vantaggi del centro città per quanto riguarda destinazioni turistiche, ristoranti e altre attività. Dal momento che l'appartamento si trova in una tranquilla strada laterale, è meravigliosamente silenzioso. La posizione unica di questo appartamento offre una vista sul famoso Castello di Heidelberg, che può essere ammirato dal balcone, dal soggiorno e dai bagni, nonché direttamente dal letto.

L'appartamento è stato completamente rinnovato fino a maggio 2014 e collegato al teleriscaldamento nel marzo 2014, in modo che possa essere restaurato con il comfort del 21 ° secolo. Century si collega.

We, our family with two small children, had a wonderful time in the Himmelreich apartment during the time that we spent there. Our favorite aspects were the great location, the castle view, and the air conditioning on the second floor for the warmer days. We would definitely recommend it!

Magical

Wonderful memories made! Our family spent Christmas week here, enjoying the close proximity to the Christmas markets and everything old town. The castle views were magical and the apartment very comfortable for our family to stay. There were basic necessities (kitchen basic supplies, umbrellas), and even some nice touches (heated bathroom floors)! My family of 5 stayed here comfortably, and my parents stayed at a smaller unit in the bottom of the building, which was perfect because it had less stairs. Highly recommend!

Wonderful

The apartment was perfect for our family to enjoy a week in Heidelberg. The location is excellent. The apartment views are spectacular! We were there during Christmas markets and while the location was right there amongst the fun it was peaceful and quiet at night. The apartment was very comfortable. It was spotless and had easy access to a grocery store for breakfast items and drinks. The kitchen had all the supplies needed if you choose to cook in. We enjoyed all the great restaurants. The host was kind enough to let us check in a bit early as we arrived earlier than expected and it was inclement weather and had to be dropped off by car service. The only kind advice I would pass on is, as the beds are extremely comfortable, the pillows were not. Perhaps additional pillows of a different type to choose from would provide a bit more comfort. Overall, I would highly recommend this property. Thank you!

Sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet, gute Lage

Die Wohnung ist sehr, sehr sauber (sogar der Spülschwamm und der Spüllappen waren offensichtlich neu und ungebraucht). Die Einrichtung ist - trotz Altbau - sehr modern; zwei Fernseher, WLAN, Licht dimmbar, viele Steckdosen, Klimaanlage in der oberen Wohnung. Beide Bäder sind gut ausgestattet und alles andere als eng. Eine leicht beschädigte Sitzbank auf dem Balkon wurde - ohne dass wir darauf hingewiesen haben - ausgetauscht. Auch das zeigt, wie sehr die Vermieterin Wert drauf legt, dass die Wohnung und die Einrichtung in ordentlichem Zustand sind. Die Fußgängerzone ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Bäcker ganz in der Nähe ("Gundel" sowie "Zeit für Brot"). Ein sehr kleiner Lebensmittelladen (für die Größe ist das Angebot aber vergleichsweise groß) ist gleich um die Ecke. Rewe, Aldi, Kaufland usw. sind in der Nähe Bismarckplatz (gut einen Kilometer entfernt) zu finden. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln kommt man flott überall hin. Mit dem Auto ist es schwieriger: Zum Be- und entladen kann man das Auto kurz abstellen: von der Zwingerstraße aus rückwärts in die Apothekerstraße einfahren und schnell aus-/einladen. Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe sind recht teuer. Einen kostenlosen Parkplatz gibt es beim Messplatz. Check-in zeitlich flexibel und problemlos. Anregung für die Vermieterin: Eine Jalousie am Fenster beim Esstisch wäre gut: Wenn die Sonne über dem Schloss aufgeht, kann sie beim Frühstück schon ein bisschen lästig werden. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Wonderful apartment in beautiful Heidelberg

The apartment was exactly as described - extremely well-equipped and spotlessly prepared. The location is excellent - only a few paces from Heidelberg's main street. All shopping needs are catered for nearby (we thoroughly recommend the bakery Zeit Fur Brot!). A boat trip on the Neckar, a visit to the wonderful Heidelberg castle (visible from the apartment), a walk on Philosophers' Way and a lovely organ concert in the Church of the Holy Spirit were highlights of our stay. Thanks to Martina, the apartment owner, for her excellent communication. We thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Perfect Location

The castle views are wonderful and the apartment location is equally phenomenal. The apartment is spacious, clean and quiet. Numerous shops and restaurants are surprisingly close and just a few steps away. The apartment had plenty of space for our family of 6, and in the July heat, the air conditioned attic level was a blessing. When we had questions, the owner responded very quickly and positively. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect Apartment for my family’s holiday.

We could not have asked for a better apartment for our vacation. The location is fantastic and only a block from the main street with all of the shops and restaurants. You have a view of the castle from the window and balcony. The apartment was clean and exactly as described. The property manager was fantastic and quickly responded when my teenage son locked all the keys in the apartment by mistake. Highly recommend.

Apartment is well equipped with an exceedingly thoughtful touch. We could use scissors to take off a tag; it’s there. Well equipped kitchen. Delightful toy box for almost four year old! Location was wonderful and view of castle outstanding. My legs appreciated the workout that the winding stairs provided and gave a reminder that I need to exercise more Thank you!!!!

Could not have been more happy with our stay! Location is excellent and the property is very well appointed. Everyone staying commented on how comfortable the beds are. Loved the heated bathroom floors! Owner very accommodating and easy to communicate with. 5 stars.

Wonderful property and location

We loved staying at this updated and extremely clean apartment. It is wonderfully located in the old town of Heidelberg near the Hauptstrasse and just a funicular ride up to the Castle. The beds were comfortable, and with two bedrooms and a bath located downstairs (along with the kitchen and living room) and a bedroom and bath plus a sitting room upstairs, we, two couples, had the space and privacy we needed. The deck is wonderful and offers exceptional views of the Castle, as do three other spaces in the apartment. The apartment is located on the third floor, so there are steps to climb. We are in our 70s and considered them our exercise for the day. I would definitely enjoy staying here again!

Clean and great location!

We rented this beautiful apartment in the centre of Heidelberg Altstadt to host my family during a destination wedding. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and I highly recommend this booking or anyone who is looking for a relaxing retreat while still being only steps away from marktplatz. The apartment was on the 3rd and 4th floor, and it offered a full kitchen with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The balcony offered stunning views of Heidelberg Palace and was a great place to relax when you just needed to get a bit of peace and quiet.

Die Wohnung war sehr schön eingerichtet, alles war sauber und in den Betten haben wir sehr gut geschlafen. Das einzige was fehlte waren zwei zusätzliche Stühle auf dem Balkon, da wir zu sechst in der Wohnung waren. Aber das ist aus Platzmangel vlt auch schwierig. Die Wohnung liegt wunderbar zentral. Es hat uns gefallen und wir würden wiederkommen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Groß genug für uns sechs, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Klimaanlage - es waren heiße Tage - haben wir erst spät entdeckt (die anderen hatten die Mappe mit den Hinweisen zur Wohnung), aber auch gut - war besser für den Energieverbrauch. ÖPNV um die Ecke, und bei der Lage (!!) Einkaufs- und Einkehrmöglichkeiten ohne Ende. Fazit: eine gute Wahl.

Fantastic stay.

A fantastic stay- great location, beautiful units, modern amenities. Attended a sports camp in the area, and was able to get to all the transit options available with ease, and was positioned to enjoy the Old Town of Heidelberg perfectly.

Altstadt at it's best

Wunderschöne bestausgestattete Wohnung in perfekter Lage für HD-Erkundungen. Wir haben den aufenthalt sehr genossen, auch wenn die fleißigen Handwerker in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft ab 07:30 Uhr etwas nervig waren... aber das lässt sich wohl einfach nicht vermeiden wenn man es so zentral haben will :-) Deshalb: jederzeit wieder!

Amazing VRBO experience!

I cannot overstate how much we enjoyed staying at this property. Everything was well documented for our arrival, the host was very communicative, the place was clean and huge! Our kids loved it, the kitchen had everything we needed, the balcony was awesome with a view of the castle, the neighborhood was so quaint, and the location to everything you need was perfect! You are a mere 1 min walk to a bus stop, and the Bergbahn to travel up the mountain to the castle. A 1 min walk the other direction puts you on the Main Street where you can buy food, eat out, go shopping, etc. I don’t think it gets better, honestly.
