Chestatee River Cottage

Questo adorabile cottage lungo il fiume sul Chestatee è a pochi minuti dal centro storico di Dahlonega, dalle cantine e dai luoghi di nozze. Solo 7 miglia da GA 400, la posizione è centrale per tutto ciò che vorresti fare e vedere. Goditi il paesaggio e la natura dal grande ponte coperto, dalla pioggia o dallo splendore. È possibile ascoltare il suono pacifico delle rapide vicine dal mazzo. Uccelli canori, anatre, aironi blu, cervi e l'elusiva lontra di fiume compaiono di tanto in tanto. Non fumare all'interno, NO animali domestici e NO feste o eventi.

Soon I will lose count of how many times we have stayed at this beautiful property! The previous stays were in December when the town was lit up for Christmas. This time it’s spring. Really, it doesn’t matter the season. We love it here. The home is clean, well equipped and welcoming. The hosts are extremely kind and attentive when needed. It truly feels like our home away from home. Our first year we invited my husband’s sister and her husband to join us. They loved it so much they made the trip themselves a couple more times. My husband loves to fish. I love the wineries. So it has always worked out great. Enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning on the back porch. Or a glass of wine and a fire along the bank of the river. I look forward to our next visit!

Wonderful cabin for a nice relaxing getaway. Had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the river. Good location. Close to downtown Dahlonega and just a short ride to Helen.

The cabin was terrific! Immaculately clean, nicely updated, all types of amenities, including hair dryer, make-up mirror (game changer in my opinion), nice shampoo/body wash, coffee pods, sugar AND some creamer in the fridge. It was just very clean and really thoughtful. Met the owner Bruce who was so pleasant and helpful! Little town of Dahlonega was super charming with really friendly folks. We will be back!

From the moment we arrived, we were completely charmed by this beautiful and cozy retreat. We had the opportunity to personally meet Bruce. He welcomed us warmly and gave us some tips about the area.The property is impeccably clean, thoughtfully organized, and clearly maintained with great care. Every detail made us feel comfortable like at home.The view is simply stunning, peaceful, scenic, the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the spacious, fully furnished and clean patio overlooking the river.The location strikes a perfect balance between seclusion and convenience, with easy access to road and just a short about 10-15-minute drive to shops and restaurants.We recommend this place highly, it truly exceeded our expectations. Bruce's place is awesome and was incredibly clean! Everything was well stocked. Check in was guick and easy. Excellent value! The deck and the view were great! Bruce's communication and response time were very quick.We would definitely stay here again if we revisited the area!

This was the easiest 5 star review I have ever given. The host was welcoming and made himself available for anything we might need. But we really didn't need anything because the property was so well maintained and had everything we needed. Will definitely be a repeat visitor!

Beautiful cabin by the river stocked with everything you could possibly need while away from home. You can tell that the owners put thought into the decor and making everything cozy and comfortable. We look forward to visiting again when it's warm enough to enjoy the back porch.

We loved staying here. Beautifully decorated with the charm fitting a riverside cabin. Bruce was a friendly and courteous host. This floor plan was very comfortable to spend time relaxing and soaking in the natural setting next to the river. We would love to visit here again.

This was hands down the best VRBO vacation ever! The home was warm and welcoming and the view was so relaxing! Everything was clean, perfect and updated. The shower is phenomenal! Thank you so much for the Christmas tree in the living room! We will definitely have to make this an annual thing. We came for Christmas in Dahlonega and it did not disappoint! All the people are just phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back!

The hosts were outstanding, and the house was perfect. Perfectly clean, and was stocked with everything. The property was beautiful and it was so fun walking along the river. We had a fire one night and sat on the swing, it was great. I cannot recommend this house enough! We will absolutely be coming back.

The cabin and deck are absolutely gorgeous. The owners did an outstanding job. A gas fireplace is always a plus for me, too. Great beds and linens and soaps! The location is perfect, just a few minutes away from downtown and hiking. I have been going to the mountains for the last 15 years and this here is my favorite place to stay. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Bruce, who is a wonderful host and very nice person. He and his wife live right next door but don't fret, you have plenty of privacy.
