This property is NOT river front as Vrbo AI may be advertising! The river is however, directly across the street. Access: aprox 30-50', across street, at the end of fence and at the old bridge offers access to the Chattahoochee River & fly fishing paradise. The rocking chair front porch is a favorite and offers some views of the river.

*Bedroom 1 Queen bed. Bedroom 2, twin beds, one is twin trundle (closest to window) that can be moved to stationary twin to make king, if preferred. Full bath with tub/shower.

Save on parking fees by staying with us, downtown. Walk to downtown shopping, liquor store and our famous Betty"s Country Store (IGA) for groceries. Walk to many restaurants including Paul's Steak House (on the River) where you can dance the night away at Paul's Margarita Deck with live music and seasonal karaoke. Enjoy the Indoor Fun Factory with skating rink, go-carts, laser tag, bouncy house & arcade on sunny and rainy days. Water park & Blue River tubing during those warm summer days and don't forget the zip lines & rollercoaster, one of our favorites. Helen offers something for everyone. Cindy was incredible—super responsive before and throughout our trip to Helen, GA. The bungalow was perfect for our family of four and our corgi pup. We loved that we could walk everywhere and always felt safe in the neighborhood and the city overall.We packed in so much fun: hiking Anna Ruby Falls, riding the Georgia Mountain Coaster (twice!), eating all the German food, and sampling plenty of beer and wine. We also spent way too much time (in the best way) at Betty’s Country Store just around the corner.The place itself was cozy and welcoming, with new appliances, great hospitality, and even a Christmas tree that made our stay feel extra special. We had an amazing time visiting the week before Thanksgiving. Thanks for everything, Cindy!

We really enjoyed staying here. It was perfect for my husband, me and our 1 year old Shih Tzu. The cabin is adorable and is really close to two restaurants and the Main Street where every thing happens, but sits on a quiet street. It was stocked with most essentials needed and very clean. Cindy responded quickly when needed. We hope to visit Helen again and plan to stay here again.
Weiner snitzel, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. Delicious.
Soft pretzels and beer cheese everywhere.

Unit was clean and was really a nice place inside and out.we sat a lot on the porch. the last night we even saw a black bear crossing the road from the porch.the unit was everything we needed and enjoyed our stay there.

Cindy is a very hospitable host and had the cottage in perfect condition on arrival. An easy stroll to Main Street activities, yet quiet when it needs to be. We will look here first the next time we plan to stay in Helen. Highly recommended!

A sweet little cottage! The upgrades to the countertops and the interior were great! Location is amazing! Front porch was so enjoyable! Would have loved a box fan, but will definitely take one next time.

The property owner is awesome to communicate with and willing to answer any questions you many have. The little bungalow is so beautiful and clean. We have stayed in many different places in Helen, but this one will be our place for now on. The cozy feeling of home away from home just made our stay perfect.

Perfect location!

We really enjoyed our stay! Everything we needed was included, even a washer and dryer, which we did not use. The perfect location within walking distance to everything. The host was very communicative and responded very quickly to all of my messages and even refunded my pet fee, once I realized my boarder had space. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent location, very clean, can't ask for more.

We had a great stay with our family, including goldendoodle. This was a great location, close to everything but still separated enough to not feel like you can't enjoy the outdoor area. Extremely clean place, and very easy check in/out process. Recommend to anyone!

Cozy cottage

This cozy cottage conveniently located within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Helen has all the amenities one could need and lots of extras. This small cabin features a river facing rocking chair front porch, two small bedrooms and a well stocked bathroom, laundry room and kitchen. Towels, toiletries, detergent, paper towels and many other accessories are provided for your comfort. My only suggestion would be to add vanity mirrors in the bedrooms since there is only one bathroom.
