“We stayed at the Helendorf Inn for one night on our way north and had a great experience. The room was very clean, which is always a top priority for us. We absolutely loved being right in the middle of the downtown area. Everything was a short, easy walk, which made exploring so convenient. My 11-year-old loved the breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. The staff was friendly and very helpful, and overall the stay was smooth and comfortable. “The room was clean, minus the floor. Walking around barefoot uncovered the dirty floors. There were no pool towels on the second day (pool is not connected to building so in frigid weather, that short walk is brutal) but we just used towels from the room. Staff was always super sweet, courteous, respectful, and friendly. Super safe area. Walking distance to most things. Hardly had to drive away from parking lot. Will definitely be coming back here again!”

“First of all, everyone was friendly from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean and fresh and comfortable and those were the most soft pillows I have ever used. The grounds were clean and comfortable. They had marshmallows s'mores outside at night for families I felt really safe. I really do like this place and I will be returning. I have nothing bad to say. I really enjoyed myself. I wish I could have stayed another night”
