Hotel vicino a Helen Park - Sophia

“My husband and I have stayed here twice for an overnight road trip stopover, as the location is very convenient if you're traveling on I77. It's cozy and affordable, the beds are comfortable. We enjoy the woodsy, rustic vibes and the lake view out back. Would stay here any time we're traveling through the area.”

“Friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast.”

“Breakfast was good”

“Great room, clean, no carpet, new and with full blackout shades! Loved it! ”

“Property was excellent. We had a suite with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa bed. The suite was very spacious. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had. Eggs and oatmeal were perfectly cooked. There were 2 different kinds of sausages as well as a waffle station and the usual cold breakfast items. Fitness room was a good size and had several different pieces of equipment including weights, kettlebells, ellipticals and treadmills. We would definitely stay here again...

“The place is fine for a quick one night”

“What I liked was that everything was as expected and I didn't have to do anything except go to sleep comfortably.”

“They downgraded my room from a king to a double because they were overbooked and had no king rooms left. I was there to enjoy a getaway as a couple; however, I was forced to take the double room and could not sleep in one bed with my partner. On top of that, during checkout, they told us they would provide a $40 refund for the inconvenience, but I have received nothing, and it has been two weeks since I sent them a reminder email regarding the status of the refund.”

“Room smelled like dog, carpet was nasty, hadn’t Been vacuumed in a while”

“DO NOT BOOK AT THIS PLACE! I arrived at night in the pouring rain after a long day of driving. The office was locked, with a note on the door saying to call this number. When I called and asked to check in, I was told they had no rooms because of a “water problem”, despite the room already being booked and paid for in advance. I was left stranded with nowhere to stay, and the guy could not have cared less. I said, “You couldn’t have called people to give them a heads up so they could make other...

“The room wasn't ready when I got there. It's was a no smoking but smelled terrible of cigarette smoke. There was a puppy in the room next to mine that cried half the night. No coffee cups or creamer. Definitely not worth what I had to pay. Had to ask for ice, they would give it out in a plastic bag. Definitely will not stay there again.”
