A great place.
This is a great place to stay. Great location which is just a short walk down to the cove. The house itself has everything you could want for a couple or small family. We tboroughly enjoyed our stay and if we are ever back in the area we wouldbt hestate to book again.

Great Location
This was our 3rd year which probably tells you all you need to know. The location is good & offers easy walking access to both the coastal path & also Cadgwith itself. Highly recommended.

Second visit, just as great
For our second visit to Cadgwith we booked the Poppy property (our first was in Henrietta, the converted and extended railway wagon). Cannot fault the experience - the property was spotless and excellently presented. There was an outside area with table and barbeque if needed, gated so we could let the dog out if needed without worry. The kitchen area, bathroom and bedrooms were all in great order. The area around Cadgwith is stunning and comes highly recommended - take your pick from The Lizard, Kynance Cove, Kennack Sands or Mullion, or simply take a walk down to the harbour for some lovely views of the sea and valley. All in all, a terrific place to stay.

Cozy Cottage by the sea
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Paulas cottage. The cottage itself is just a cozy and wonderfuls place to stay, it is well equipped and decorated, you feel just at home. Paula is a really kind and helpful host and we enjoyed every minute of our stay in this beautiful cottage by the sea. We loved being so close to the ocean and the ocean coastal walks!

Beautiful cottage & location
Poppy cottage was the perfect stay for our first ever visit to Cornwall! Paula was very helpful and the cream tea on arrival was a lovely surprise! The location is great, very close to the local pub and the coastal path literally at the end of the garden! The cottage was very clean, cosy and peaceful- amazing for star gazing at night! Thank you Paula, I'm sure we will be back!

Perfect cottage in idyllic location
Poppy cottage exceeded all our expectations. It was immaculate, comfortable and situated in a stunning peaceful location next to the coastal path with cadgwith cove just down the road Cream tea and milk was a lovely welcome surprise The fresh eggs from the ducks and chickens and the pygmy goats were all a pleasant addition Paula was such a friendly hostess and happy to help anytime We had a wonderful time thank you

Excellent property with excellent hosts
The property was lovely and the hosts are amazing. Nothing is to big and they are always happy to help. Cadgwith is a lovely area with a great pub. We loved our stay and cannot recommend it enough!!

Very clean, great location and cosy.
We had a lovely relaxing weekend. Cottage was in a great location with all we needed for the weekend. Host very welcoming and very helpful. With no visitors after us we were grateful for a later check out time. So thank you. Only one minor comment. We were a party of three adults and the bunk beds were very small and not suitable for adult use. Thank you Jo

Hi, so pleased you enjoyed your weekend and thank you for your lovely comments! (for guests reference, the bunk beds are a standard 3ft single bed size, but we do ask that adults do not use the top bunk)

Ideal retreat
We had a wonderful few days . Location is stunning and quiet . One of the best breaks we have had! Great base to explore the area. Paula couldn't have been more helpful . House was lovely. Will definitely be going back.

Comfortable cottage close to pretty fishing village
This is a recently-modernised immaculate cottage 15 mins walk from the centre of Cadgwith on the coast near the Lizard. It is well-equipped with comfortable beds and a good bathroom. It was perfect for the three of us and excellent value.

Very peaceful location
Poppy is a lovely cottage, set in the beautiful grounds of the owners home. It’s a short walk to the lovely village of Cadgwith, which has a nice pub. It was useful to have Paula on hand, she’s a very helpful host.

Perfect Cornish getaway
'Poppy' was a lovely house in a perfect location for getting away from it all and peace and quiet. The house has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. After the hottest summer on record it was bound to change at some point, which it did :), but it didn't dampen our time there. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house in a stunning location
I chose this property mainly because it looked clean, tidy and was dog friendly. The price was competitive and value for money. The host Paula was very helpful and was able to answer any queries I had before arrival. When we arrived (easy to find with printed directions from the host) the access was straight forward, we had a lovely cream waiting for us which went down really well! The house was spotless and exactly as its shown on the pictures. It really was beautiful, stylish, cosy yet big enough. The dogs had their own little court yard to sniff around but also 2 acres of grass for their first and last walks of the day! Paula introduced herself within the first hour, which was lovely. The area is stunning for walks but there was nothing open in the village. We were disappointed to learn the pub had closed for the rest of January which meant we had to drive out for dinner. The coastal walks are literally minutes away, the views are amazing. We will definitely be staying here again.

Cosy comfy relaxing
The cottage is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Positioned well, just above Cadgwith village although the road back to the cottage is rather steep. Lovely coastal walks straight from the door. A lovely cottage with very pleasant surroundings.

Idyllic holiday in beautiful tranquil setting
Poppy cottage is set in a stunning location, only a few minutes walk to the picturesque Cadgwith Cove, with it's pretty thatched cottages and excellent local inn. The grounds of The Coach House are lovely, and very peaceful, and the cosy cottage is tastefully decorated and well equipped, with lots of thoughtful touches, well maintained and very clean. We received a warm welcome from the owner Paula, who was available throughout our holiday, and it felt that nothing was too much trouble. We absolutely loved the whole area, with it's stunning scenery, and even though it's relatively remote, we found it easy to travel or walk to explore the west of Cornwall. We had such an enjoyable holiday, allowing us to completely switch off and fully relax. I've recommended it to lots of friends, and hope to be able to return before long. Thank you!

Lovely & Quiet
The location & cottage (Poppy) we’re perfect. A very short walk in to Cadgwith & a short drive from Kynance Cove. The cottage has everything you could need. Beds were comfortable & plenty of space for your belongings. It’s a very quiet location away from the crowds, which was perfect for us. Plenty of safe space for children to run around. We had a lovely time here & would definitely go back

Fabulous week in Cornwall!

Idyllic Cadgewith.
Poppy cottage is in a perfect location, and well equipped for all your needs. It is surrounded by breathtaking scenery. It’s lovely and clean too, but we were disappointed with the comfort of the sofas in the lounge, they have seen better days!

Charming Cornish cottage
We stayed here at the end of April and it was delightful. Cornish cream tea on arrival at this stunning property. It is ideally situated for peace and tranquility but also within easy travel distance of amenities if you want them. It was a walker's paradise with easy access the the coast path and nearby cove. A lovely cottage with everything you could ask for to make a lovely holiday. Thank you Paula, it was great. X

Peaceful location close to coast path
It’s got everything you need with a decent sized living room and well equipped kitchen on the ground floor. Two beds and bathroom upstairs. Outside is a small patio, table and BBQ with french doors to the living room. We’ve been here before and will again! Cadgwith is beautiful, a real away from it all place.

A wonderful stay
We stayed in the Poppy cottage in September 2020, and had family staying in the Old Coach at the same time. Paula was a fantastic host and the accommodation had everything we needed (although there is no freezer space in Poppy for anyone who likes ice with their G&T!). The cream tea on arrival was lovely. It’s a beautiful setting - with our little one enjoying the animal paddock - and just a short walk down into Cadgwith which has a pub serving food day and night. The coastal path Is a minute away and it was a great base to explore further afield too. Plenty of lovely beaches and coves within 10-30 minute drive - we spent time in Falmouth and did the Eden Project with no problem. Highly recommended - thanks for having us!

Fantastic Cottage
Poppy Cottage was a beautiful 2 bed cottage let as part of Cadgwith Coach House properties. When we arrived it was spotless and there was a beautiful cream tea waiting for us. The cottage has a little courtyard outside which is generally shaded but the gardens outside are available to use and we moved some chairs into the sun in the morning to have a coffee. It is a short walk into Cadgwith itself which has a pub serving food, a small ice cream and essentials shop and a fish shop. The views are beautiful and the cove itself is pretty with fishing boats and a small pebbly beach. Back at the cottage, the kitchen has everything you might need to eat in (no freezer though) and a powerful shower. The bedrooms are well proportioned and comfortable. There is free view tv and a selection of videos and books. If you have younger kids there are some toys and books they can enjoy. The WiFi was very limited - enough to send a few messages or check the weather. The owner was very friendly and helped us with a few questions over the week of our stay. They had helpfully provided some local OS maps and leaflets. The SW coast path is literally at the end of the garden and we did walks to Church Cove, Lizard and Kynance Cove. We also booked a SUP lesson from Cadgwith with Lizard Adventures who we would highly recommend. We spent a few days at Kennack Sands which is only a couple of miles away and had great waves for body boarding, a cafe, car park and conveniences. The cottage is in a great location and was so cozy to come home to after a busy day. Highly recommended.

Absolutely perfect in every way
Gorgeous property with everything you could possibly need. A real home from home. Paula was so welcoming and friendly. A beautiful cream tea was waiting for us on arrival and a bottle of fizz in the fridge! Lovely setting with only a 5 minute walk to the beach. We stayed in Poppy over Christmas, the house was decorated with a full size Christmas tree. It was just so perfect. We walked to the beach on Christmas day morning and watched the swim. Lovely atmosphere. The local pub was very quaint and the bar staff were welcoming. Will definitely be booking here again and would recommend it to others 100%. X

Staying at Poppy Cottage
We really enjoyed our stay, the cottage is really spacious and clean. Even though the weather was challenging we made most of our trip. We went for walks every day and travelled to Lizard point, Porthleven (really recommend ), St Ives and St Michael’s Mount. Cadgwith village is so pretty and traditional and we really hope to come back there in the summer.
