Welcome to this charming and older house in Brattås on Orust – a holiday home with a simpler standard but with lots of character. The house is 85 m² and can accommodate up to 8 people divided into three bedrooms and a walk-through room with bunk beds and an extra bed. There are a total of eight sleeping places here: one bedroom with a double bed (160×200), one with a bed 90×200 and one 80×200, and one with a bed 90×200.



The house is simply but functionally equipped, with preserved charm from the past. The kitchen has a stove, oven, refrigerator and coffee maker, and in the living room there is plenty of space for shared moments. The bathroom in the basement has a bathtub and the house is equipped with an urine-diverting toilet. During the summer you need to be economical with your water consumption as the well can be sensitive.



Outside, a large plot of 5000 m² awaits you with a garden, furniture and barbecue. The natural environment with forests and meadows all around creates a peaceful holiday feeling, and just 300 meters away is the sea with a sandy beach and swimming opportunities. Two kayaks are included in the rent, making it easy to explore the archipelago from the water.



Dogs are welcome (up to two), so even the four-legged members of the family can come along on vacation.





Things to do in Brattås and the surrounding area



In the surrounding area you can enjoy both swimming and fishing opportunities in the sea within walking distance. With the kayaks that are included, you can easily discover surrounding bays and islands. For those who prefer land activities, there are nice hiking trails and the opportunity for bike rides in the Bohuslän cultural landscape.



In Henån, about 7 km away, you will find shops, restaurants and all necessary services. Uddevalla is 36 km away for those who want more city life. Classic excursion destinations such as Mollösund, Käringön and Hälleviksstrand are also within easy reach to experience the genuine atmosphere of the west coast.





Good to know about this accommodation



• The house has a simpler standard and is an older house with charm.

• A deposit of 2000 SEK is mandatory and must be paid on the day of arrival. Refund will be made approximately 1 week after departure if the house has been left in an acceptable condition.

• Bed linen and towels can be selected for: 190 SEK/person and 60 SEK/person respectively.

• Final cleaning is not included in the price. Guests clean themselves, cleaning materials are available in the house.

• Firewood can be purchased on site: 125 SEK/basket.

• Electricity is included in the rent, charging electric cars is not allowed.

• Separett toilet (emptied by the owner).

• Be economical with water during the summer.

• Two kayaks are included in the rent.

• Smoking is prohibited.

• Pets are allowed (max 2).

• Youth groups are not accepted and parties are not allowed.
