“We had a good stay at the Sloop Inn.
Lovely friendly staff.
The best breakfast.

“Great location for park and ride into Bath.
We stayed in the main building-this was a mistake. It was noisy-the annex (where we have stayed before) is much better.
Our room had a great view of the race course but unfortunately was directly above the kitchen. Kitchen smells and noise drifted up and on one occasion very loud music from the kitchen.
The room needed some tlc. Paintwork very shabby. The bathroom was very poky and not very clean. The toilet had nasty staining in the pan and the...

“Great location, beautifully decorated room and good quality bedding, towels, toiletries etc.
However .. our room (9) was TINY .. the gap on one side of the bed was approx 8 inches between the bed and the wall so very difficult to navigate safely particularly at night without stubbing your toe on the one side or bumping into to door handle on the other.
There was no where to put a suitcase to unpack other than on the bed or the floor which was difficult for us.

“Well located (15 minute walk to the baths, and on several bus lines). Nice property, excellent breakfast. Our only issue was that our room (top floor) had a sloping ceiling that you have to be careful of to avoid bumping your head and which effectively reduces the useful space in the room.”

“De Vere Tortworth Court is a beautiful and unique mansion, completely surrounded by nature, built over 170 years ago. We came to visit the Cotswolds, and this accommodation worked out quite well (it is a 40 mins-1h drive from the main villages).
Things I loved:
All the shared areas are well kept and organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good as well as the bistro and the cocktail bar in the library room.
