Welcome to our charming and cozy retreat in the heart of Windham, where modern comfort meets historic charm. With its prime location, thoughtful amenities, and stylish decor, our property is the perfect home away from home for your next getaway. The house is nestled in the woods on a private road, 3.8mi from Windham Mountain and 2.6mi from the Golf Club. Whether you're a skier, golfer, or an outdoor enthusiast, there's something for everyone!
The space
Our newly renovated Windham home features three bedrooms and two bathrooms. This charming retreat boasts a wood-burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy loft, and a delightful back deck. Inside, you'll find an inviting and warm interior that offers all the amenities you'll require for a comfortable stay. The large fireplace is an ideal spot to relax, allowing you to gaze through the expansive windows at the beautiful surroundings. For a perfect evening under the stars, head out to the back deck and grill up a delicious dinner after a day on the slopes.

Only 3 minutes to Windham mountain and 10 minutes to Hunter mountain, you are close enough to town to enjoy the lively bars, restaurants, and shopping, all while being comfortably far enough to retreat to serene nature. It's truly the best of both worlds!

Very cozy house

The house is conveniently located close to the ski slopes. The house was clean, beds and towels were clean. Loved the fireplace which made our evening.

Nice townhouse

The townhouse is newly renovated and clean as in its description. Everything works well. Particularly like its two king beds.

Weekend Getaway

The home was clean and comfortable. The home does have that wood burning fireplace smell and triggered our friends allergies but overall wasnt an issue. It was conveniently located to town and easy to find. It is located on a private lane that was all snow and ice coverd but wirh AWD we did not have an issue. Overall it was a great place to stay and we woyld 100% retuen. The owners were very responsive when we had an issie with the door lock and they walked us through it easy peasy. Just an FYI, there is not great cell servixe at the house so make sure you have the wifi info and door code before you get there because you wont be able to access the VBRO app at the property to connect to the wifi.

Our stay at this house in Windham was extremely disappointing, mainly due to multiple serious issues that were never disclosed in the listing and an extremely rude host. First, there is no cell phone service at all for any carrier. This is a major issue and absolutely should have been clearly stated in the house description. Being completely unreachable is not acceptable, especially for travelers. Second, the TV was not working during our stay, another basic amenity that was listed but not provided. When we arrived after a 4-hour drive, the bedsheets smelled very bad and were clearly not clean. We had no choice but to wash all the bedding ourselves as soon as we arrived, which is unacceptable for a rental. To make matters worse, on the morning of our checkout, the hot water was shut off. This felt deliberate and possibly done out of spite after we reached out to the host about the issues. Either way, having no hot water on checkout morning is completely unacceptable. Overall, poor communication, undisclosed problems, cleanliness issues, and a hostile response from the host made this a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend staying here.
