Situato accanto a un promontorio roccioso ea un flusso lento, la casa vacanze Creekside si trova su 10 acri di terreno. Cervi, tacchini selvatici, oche canadesi e altri animali selvatici sono visitatori abituali della proprietà. C'è molto spazio per i bambini per correre e gli adulti per rilassarsi mentre vi godete il panorama.

Con soffitti con travi a vista, un ambiente country unico e finestre da parete a parete, ti sentirai sicuramente a casa durante il tuo soggiorno in questa casa Hermosa.

Dopo una giornata di escursioni a Custer State Park, ritirati nel soggiorno e accendi la TV via cavo a schermo piatto. Mentre guardi 'Danze con i lupi', girato proprio lungo la strada dalla proprietà, avrai splendide viste attraverso le grandi finestre.

This was as ideal family vacation rental. The owners were gracious and accomodating in every way. The home is centrally located to all the South Dakota attractions. Tons of space and every comfort of home was taken into consideration. Thank you for sharing your home with my kids and I!

We enjoyed staying at Creekside. Beautiful home/yard close to all the places we wanted to explore...Custer, Rushmore, Jewel Cave, Keystone. Would highly recommend it to other families looking for a home base while exploring all the area has to offer. Priceless memories made!

We thought the property was great and very much what we were looking for. The hot tub was an added bonus and we spent several nights utilizing it. The only issues we had was that the owners were there when we arrived which was very awkward. It made us feel like we were kicking them out of their own home and felt intrusive. We had been on the road all day (9 hours) and when we arrived at the time of check-in we were not expecting to see anyone there. Also, a bigger issue we dealt with was moths EVERYWHERE! They were all over the home both dead and alive. It was actually kinda gross and i made sure to check the bedroom before we went to bed not wanting to share the bed with any. When we were packing and organizing our suitcase I jumped when I lifted a pair of pants and a moth crawled out. If bugs are not your things then this isn't the place for you!

Great stay for a hiking trip in the area. Centrally located to the Black Hills, Badlands, and Wind Cave. Plus Rushmore. Great hot tub and deck. And the hot caramel rolls that were dropped off were awesome! Great stay!

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. It was spacious, had books and toys for the kids, kitchen was well stocked, large enough table for all of us to gather around, had plenty of towels for the hot tub, yard was large enough to play frisbee in and our hosts were very gracious. We were greeted with our family name on the door and caramel rolls in the kitchen, which were delicious! We enjoyed seeing deer most days in the yard or across the road on the hill. It felt like home away from home. It was convenient to many of the attractions we wanted to see. We would highly recommend staying here.

Great weekend at this awesome home! Three bathrooms, three bedrooms and open loft with sleeping spots was great! We especially enjoyed the hot tub and deck. Owners stopped by a couple times to check in/drop off cinnamon rolls.

Everything about our stay at Creekside was perfect! Lloyd and Sherry were, hands down, the most welcoming and accommodating hosts! The property was beautiful, clean and so comfortable, not to mention conveniently located to so many area attraction. And the hot tub was an awesome bonus!

We rented this home with our adult children. House has ample space for spreading out. The location was perfect for seeing all of the sights. We didn’t use the hot tub but we did grill out multiple time. Try the local pizza place, it’s great.

Great location close to all South Dakota has to offer. House had everything we were looking for. Beautiful property off of main road (not too secluded but still very private), fully equipped kitchen, grill for our use and plenty of space for our family trip! We enjoyed all of the sites by day and relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed the decks at night. Wonderful hosts and even delivered home made cinnamon rolls for us to enjoy!

When we arrived, we were greeted with homemade cinnamon rolls, which my daughters loved! Our family enjoyed spending time on the back deck with the fire pit and hot tub. The house was centrally located… about 20 minutes from Custer State Park, Keystone and Rapid City. I spoke with Sherry, one of the homeowners, before we arrived, which was helpful. We also had the pleasure of meeting her and her husband. They were kind enough to share corn and tomatoes from their garden! We very much enjoyed our stay!

This home was great for our little family reunion. The cabin comfortably slept 4 adults, 4 children, and our infant daughter in a pack n play. Lots of open space to play yard games and the decks gave us a great place to unwind in the evenings. Everything worked as expected and the house was fully stocked with all the essentials. Cherie was very responsive and excellent to work with. We will definitely stay here again!

This large family home, located in a peaceful country location, could not be better situated for visiting the beautiful Black Hills and Custer State Park. It is surrounded by fields, a stream and gentle hills yet within a short drive of cute tourist towns and attractions as well as the beautiful hikes, lakes, drives and wildlife of the area. Absolutely stunning.. The home is a large, loved family home with well kept peaceful outdoor areas and a comfy interior that offers everything that you would find in your own home. Well stocked for daily family living. We felt like visiting family members and loved the welcome gift of delicious homemade cinnamon rolls. The owners were always available to answer any questions but did not interfere with our privacy at all.. Our family from grandparents to grandchildren felt right at home in this wonderful retreat!

Convenient to everything we wanted to see—Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, the Badlands, etc. We loved sitting outside on the deck watching deer and wide turkeys in the yard while we had our morning coffee. Our place was well stocked with essentials and available for us our use. The owners were super nice.

The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we could need. It’s also super conveniently located to Mt Rushmore, Wind Cave NP, Custer State Park, Mammoth Site (all 30 mins or less) and many other destinations (Deadwood, Badlands each about 60 mins). The only negative, for us, was the frequency with which the owners were at the property. As mentioned, they do operate a “part-time” vet clinic out of the garage — I guess we just weren’t expecting three+ visits a day. After a few days, our four-year-old asked “Do those people live in the garage?” For some, the frequent visits might not be an issue. But for us, it was the difference between a “good” and “great” experience. It just felt a little more like a Bed & Breakfast and less like a vacation home, if that makes sense. That said, our interactions with the owners — while more frequent than we would have liked — were very pleasant.

We spent a week in this comfortable home near the Black Hills. It was the perfect location for seeing Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, the Black Hills and all the nearby sights. We loved returning to the home for a relaxing evening after each day of sightseeing and hiking. The owner was so friendly and easy to contact. And we had the wonderful homemade cinnamon rolls in the kitchen when we arrived. If we ever return to this area I would certainly choose to stay here again!

It has been almost a month since we were in Hermosa. It was a perfect place for our trip. It was centrally located for all we want to do. Sharon and Lloyd were great hosts. We had Sharon's famous cinnamon rolls. We would stay here again without hesitation.

We used this home for a family vacation. We wanted a place that had lots of space inside and out, but that wasn't too far from the local attractions. This home fit the bill. It was comfortable for 5 adults and 2 children. The kitchen was VERY well stocked. The dining room table and living room was big enough for us to all sit comfortably. There were even toys for the kids. We not only enjoyed the interior, but loved being outside. There are 2 nice decks. We used both the grill and the hot tub. We also played in the creek and climbed the "mountain" behind the house. The host and hostess were attentive and made us feel welcome to their home. We were even welcomed with warm breakfast rolls in the kitchen when we arrived. Thank you!

Sheri and Lloyd were absolutely wonderful! They were so warm and inviting. They even had a wonderful pan of cinnamon rolls for us. The place was very clean and spacious. Plenty of room for the kids to run and play. We felt very at home. The house was in a great location in regards to Keystone/Mt Rushmore, Rapid City, Custer State Park. We would love to stay here again!

The cabin was very clean and exactly as advertised. Sherry and Lloyd were great hosts and even left a terrific tray of brownies to welcome us. The cabin was well located for everything we wanted to do, from Custer State Park to the Badlands to Devil's Tower in Wyoming. We were able to see everything we wanted. The cabin had toys for children and games for adults. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone traveling with children!
