“The room, stay and location were great. It is Expedia that dropped the ball. I paid for the room in advance for I thought was the total price, only to be hit with “destination fee” and daily parking charges. I was hit with over $200 in extra charges upon checking out. Expedia never mentioned a thing about possible other fees. I’ll never use Expedia again.”

“This is a wonderful place. From the moment we checked in we were treated so well. Kelsie at the front desk was so nice and she was helpful in answering all of our questions. Eric the manager was also very friendly. The place was very clean, the room was exceptional. The only negative I have(and it is really a picky one) is that the pool was suppose to be heated. It was chilly when we were there and were hoping to be able to use the pool but it was too cold.”

“We had an excellent stay at The Addison. The room was clean and charming. The place was meticulously maintained. Ron and Lisa were excellent hosts. They helped with restaurant suggestions as well as places to visit. Bicycles were provided for free and made for a great way to get around and see Fernandina. The happy hour made for a nice way to meet other guests. I absolutely would recommend The Addison as a great place to stay on Amelia Island. Absolutely worth it!”
