SAUERLAND vacation apartments for up to 8 people

Just a few kilometers from Herscheid, nestled in the picturesque hills of the Sauerland, this spacious and eco-friendly vacation rental awaits you. Built as a CO₂-neutral “Green Building,” the property also features two charging stations for electric vehicles. The vacation rental is ideal for technicians, couples, and families.

With its three bedrooms, this modern and fully equipped vacation rental offers plenty of space for up to eight people. The sleeping arrangements are as follows:

• Bedroom 1: Double bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m)
• Bedroom 2: Single bed (0.90 m x 2.00 m) and double bed (1.40 m x 2.00 m)
• Bedroom 3: Two single beds (each 0.90 m x 2.00 m)

An additional person can sleep on the sofa bed in the living room.

The fully equipped kitchen features an induction cooktop, a dishwasher, an oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a kettle, a toaster, and a fully integrated automatic coffee machine. If you’d like to use it, please bring your own coffee beans.
For longer stays, a washing machine is available so you can conveniently do your laundry at any time.

The spacious dining and conference table also features a Grohe sparkling water faucet that provides fresh, chilled sparkling water at the touch of a button.

The apartment is equipped with a smart TV, so you can use your favorite streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc.
Wi-Fi is, of course, included.

The property features two balconies as well as a terrace in front of the house with seating and a grill.

Our property was built to be particularly energy-efficient and is operated in a largely energy-self-sufficient and sustainable manner.

A special feature of the house is its integrated water management system: Graywater from the bathrooms is treated and then reused for flushing toilets and watering the garden. This conserves valuable water resources and reduces the environmental impact in a sustainable manner.

The building’s energy supply is also designed with sustainability and security of supply in mind: Most of the electricity consumed in the building is generated directly on and around the building. Thanks to modern storage technology, the power supply remains largely guaranteed even in the event of outages in the public power grid (blackouts).

The Märkische Sauerland region captivates visitors with its impressive natural beauty and offers numerous recreational activities such as cycling, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, paragliding, water sports, and winter sports.

The operator of the vacation rental is an active paraglider pilot himself. Licensed pilots are warmly invited to fly together. Guests without a pilot’s license can experience the Sauerland from a bird’s-eye view on a tandem paragliding flight.

Check-in and Check-out

Please adhere to the specified check-in and check-out times.

• Arrival: between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
• Check-out: between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

Additional ServicesPets are not allowed.

A bed linens and towel package can be added for €10 per person per stay.
Payment is due on site.

For stays of at least five nights, the bed linens and towels package is free of charge.

Upon request, we can provide a crib with bedding for 20 € per stay.

A high chair, a step stool, and a changing pad can also be provided. Please let us know well in advance of your arrival.

Beverage and Grocery Pickup Service

Are you traveling by motorcycle or bicycle, or do you lack space for groceries in your vehicle? Then take advantage of our beverage and grocery pickup service. This way, you can start your stay relaxed and will be well-provided for on your first day, even if you arrive on a Sunday or holiday.

For last-minute bookings of five nights or more, we also offer free use of an electric car charging station.

Please let us know your estimated arrival time in advance—you’re welcome to do so via WhatsApp. This will ensure a smooth check-in.
Parking

A maximum of two parking spaces are available upon your arrival. Any additional vehicles must be parked off-site.

Student parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and heavy drinking are not permitted at this property.

Security Deposit and Additional Fees

A security deposit of 500 € must be paid upon arrival. Payment can be made either in cash or via PayPal.
After check-out, provided no damage has been caused, the amount paid will be refunded immediately via the same method used for payment.

Any additional services booked—such as bed linens, towels, a crib, etc.... will be billed on-site and are due at check-in.

Prices for additional services:

• Bed linens and towel package: 10 € per person each
• Crib including bedding: 20 € per stay

Pickup and drop-off service

We’re happy to offer a pickup and drop-off service with our 9-passenger Opel Vivaro B, for example from the train station, airport, or your construction site.

Price: 2.50 € per kilometer traveled. This also applies to the trip to your location.
