“All staff were helpful and friendly. This was our second visit to the Pheasant Inn and both were very enjoyable with comfortable warm rooms, tasty food at breakfast and dinner and most enjoyable atmosphere in the bar mainly due to all the staff engaging with all customers and their service was exceptional ”

“The bar was well stocked great pub atmosphere. Our twin room was lovely and spacious. Beds were comfy. Host were friendly left us in peace. The back door was easy quick exit for leaving. There is room for improvement on the corridor to the stairs of our room. Overall would happily stay again. Did not try the food.”

“First time staying here, we were there for 2 nights. Reception staff were lovely, really friendly every time we spoke to them and even had a laugh on the phone. Proper nice vibe. Breakfast staff felt a bit abrupt though, like you were being rushed while eating which wasn’t great. The room itself was beautiful, at the top floor. “This tiny Inn is definitely worth a visit! The new owners were very friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable and very clean. The history of the building meant that the bar is tiny, but very welcoming - we spent a great evening drinking and chatting with locals. No food available on the first night, but the owners were happy to recommend and book somewhere for us to eat. Their kitchen was open the second night and the quality was excellent. “Booked last minute during cycling trip. Staff wentvout of their way to help with luggage and security of my bike. Room had everything and more including stocked fridge and microwave. ”
