“The room was clean and tidy but the plug socket for the kettle and t.v. was loose and not properly attached to the wall. Also, the two bedside wall lights didn't work at all and one was hanging from the wall showing the wire.”

“Love this place! Lovely, welcoming real fires in winter. Cool outdoor area for brighter days. Spent a great couple of hours in the beer garden.
Rooms clean and well kitted out.
Breakfast brilliant!”

“A lovely pub with a stunning beer garden and direct access to the canal path for walks to Carnforth Morecambe and Lancaster. Only issue was the heat in the room which I appreciate it was unusually hot but room 3 also has a large noisy extractor fan outside the window so it was either heat or noise. The fan does get turned off at night. Would still stay again and the food was excellent.”
