Adventure awaits! Western NC and North GA abound with opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (20-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 35-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina or launch your own from nearby public access. Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) less than 5 minutes from the property. Fires Creek Recreation Area (45-minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. On the GA side, take a 10-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 25-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hungry and thirsty after a day of exploration? Visit the outstanding local restaurants, wineries, and breweries in and around downtown Hayesville and Hiawassee for not-to-be-missed tastes of local flavor.


Gated community. Roads are very well maintained paved & gravel roads all the way to the house.

The main floor has 2 bedrooms, one queen room and two queen beds in another room with a shared bathroom. There is kitchen-level entry for easy access, along with a laundry area.
Upstairs is a lovely open loft with a queen bed and two twin beds.
The fully finished lower level includes a large family/game room, plus three bedrooms with two queens, a twin and crib.
