“The room was damp and smelled bad when we had checked in. Had I not been exhausted from driving down country roads in a bad storm, I would have driven on. When I woke up, I was covered with bug bites. When I reported it to the front desk, they offered no help and said if I could stay until 3 pm ( it was 8 am), I could talk to the manager. If you’re running a motel and you have a possible bedbug infestation, it is an emergency, unless it is the norm. The manager can’t be disturbed??? So...

“A wonderful stay in a quiet and beautiful location after the hubbub of Nashville. Dave was an impeccable host and would highly recommend staying at Butterfly Hollow.. just fantastic.”

“We stayed in the Airstream trailer called Loretta. It was beautiful! The setting by the lake was beautiful too. There was a fire pit with chairs and supplies to make s'mores too. There was a restaurant on-site, but we brought our own food. We wish we could have enjoyed the outside areas more, but it was just too hot the day we were there.”

“There were some pros and cons to this hotel. Pros: Large rooms, beds were comfortable, staff was very kind and helpful. Cons: Older hotel, there was visible areas that needed work, like water staining and discoloring from water damage, the tub in my room was peeling horribly. Overall it was just okay and for including breakfast for the price it really was not bad. Oh and caution, if you have allergies to dogs be careful. My room had a horrible dog smell to it.”
