“The room itself has more amenities than I am used to”

“This is a cute little chalet. It slept the four of us just fine. Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. Also, outdoor chairs were dirty and filled with spider webs.”

“Double room on 2nd floor was clean, fresh and well kept. Staff at nighttime check-in was pleasant and more friendly over the day staff. Breakfast was fine and had variety.”

“The property needs to be updated . The pool is cracking and has gaps in the cement . The rooms was somewhat clean . There was a spider web behind the bathroom door in room 407 . Staff was great ! Oh the elevator got stuck between floors at different times . We reported it to the front and they said “ it happens “”

“The hotel is modern and well situated near the downtown quaint part of blowing rock. The room is large and well equipped. It has an excellent bathroom (set up, lighting, modernized shower enclosure, etc.). the restaurant downstairs is pretty decent and not overpriced. We noticed that the nightstands on the closet side are a little small but that's not a big problem. The included breakfast is adequate, but not amazing. “Wonderful hotel that is walkable to everything in downtown Blowing Rock. Property is new and very clean. Plenty of parking on site. They even offer earplugs (we didn't need them), eye shades, a steamer, and phone charging plugs built into the lamps. The hotel is unstaffed, so make sure you get your entry code before you get there (we couldn't get a cell signal in the parking lot so had to borrow wifi from a local store). “Everything was excellent apart from the garden furniture it was nice to have a private outdoor space but the cushions on the garden furniture were dirty and some were missing this we thought let the property down that otherwise was perfect”

“This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. “Clean and cozy. Comfortable bed. Good parking. Great shower but slow to get hot water. Check in not good. Couldn’t get into room for 45’ because codes would not unlock the door to the room. Finally staff member appeared and gave us a master key. TV wouldn’t work. Poor WiFi. Maid halfway made up bed and emptied waste cans but did not replace used coffee cups, Keurig cups, or water cups. Have to walk to the adjacent motel for morning coffee.”
