“Safe, but not secure, parking across the (quiet) Main Street. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom were clean and well prepared. The breakfast was excellent, with plentiful healthy options to choose from.”

“L'albergo (che ospita anche un pub) si trova in un paesino sperduto dove la sera non c'é nulla da fare (eccetto il pub dello stesso glen!). Però, per chi avesse bisogno solo di fare una breve sosta o di avere un punto di appoggio, il posto è perfetto. Lo staff è gentile, le camere sono spaziose e pulite, il pub non è male, la colazione è buona, l'atmosfera è autentica.”

“Hosts were very friendly and attentive, providing a great welcome and suggestions for dinner in the evening, as well as a recommendation of an activity to do the next day after we checked out. Bathroom was private for our room, though not connected to the room itself. The bathroom was very nice. Our room also had a sink in the bedroom itself. Bed was a bit soft - the mattress was not the most comfortable, but overall, no issue. We very much enjoyed our stay, and if we stay in the area again...

“All facilities were available for our needs. unfortunately the springs in the mattress were broken and there were several lumps which we were laying on which resulted in myself getting a sore back. The sofa bed needed cleaning as was very stained. On entering the apartment the floor was very uneven whilst walking on it because the whole apartment seemed as it was subsiding.”

“Elizabeth sent me an email before I was checking in making sure i was aware that there would be no one present on site. Keys were left exactly where she said they would be and instructions for breakfast and everything else were easy to understand and locate. The Crossing is suitably located right next to the Kingussie railroad station and is close to the Barracks - one of the sites to see while we were there. Would highly recommend this place.”
