You’ll receive a unique access code 24 hours prior to check-in, ensuring a smooth and contactless arrival.

Space
The main level centers on an open kitchen and living area with a double bedroom close by, ideal for cooking and gathering. Down a level, a second living space and queen bedroom offer a quieter retreat, while the top-floor loft holds the third queen bedroom, open above it all for elevated forest views. Step outside to decks on multiple levels, perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks after a day at the lake.

🌊 Lake & Community Access
Guest passes (wristbands) are required for lake and beach access — $2 per person, per day, paid at the clubhouse.

⚠️ HOA Requirement (Mandatory)
All guest names and vehicle license plates (with state) must be submitted at least 48 hours before check-in. Required by the lake association and enforced by private community security.

🚗 Parking & Access
Parking is limited to 2–3 vehicles on the very steep driveway. Street parking is not permitted.

In snowy or icy conditions, driving up the driveway and parking on the incline may be difficult. One vehicle can park at the bottom of the driveway. If you plan to park farther up, please consider whether your vehicle can safely handle the incline in the expected conditions. You can see the driveway photo near the end of the gallery.

🔇 Quiet Community
This is a quiet residential lake community — no parties or excessive noise, especially at night. Strictly enforced by neighbors and community security.

🛶 Paddleboards
Two stand-up paddleboards with gear and life jackets are available to borrow, stored behind the house by the shed (club wristbands required to use). Replacement cost is $379 per board and $50 per life jacket if not fully returned with all parts; guests use at their own risk.

📷 Security Cameras
Two exterior security cameras monitor the driveway/entry area and the rear of the home.

🔥 Propane
If the grill propane runs out, swap the tank at the Highland general store or Lake Wanda store (e.g., Blue Rhino exchange) and keep your receipt — we'll credit the difference. Tank levels aren't actively monitored, so bring a portable tank if grilling is a priority.

🔌 Wi-Fi Router & Devices
The Wi-Fi router, driveway camera, and vape detector must stay plugged in at all times — a mandatory requirement of our homeowner's insurance. If unplugged, we'll ask once to have it plugged back in; after that, a contractor must be dispatched at a $250 service charge.

✅ Damage Protection
A $30 non-refundable fee is included in the booking total and covers accidental damage during your stay. This is not a security deposit and does not cover intentional damage, negligence, or house rule violations.
