  • Incredibile! Accogliente baita di montagna sulla bella, chiara, roccioso e pittoresco ruscello di montagna con 'aria centrale'.

    Miglia di facile trekking appena fuori porta di casa. Foresta Nazionale dall'altra parte della strada. Boscosa e l'ambiente naturale. Uno e mezzo miglio alla famosa 'selvaggia e scenografica' Chattooga River che offre un eccellente pesca alla trota e locale rock scorrevole. Niente al mondo batte buone trote in padella. Ci sono un sacco di ottimi sentieri escursionistici vicina,...

    * Livello principale: due camere (una matrimoniale e una coppia di due letti singoli), bagno completo, zona living w / GRANDE TV, schermo piatto, sala da pranzo, e cucina (completamente e ben arredato).
    * Livello Superiore: Camera da letto (Queen) e bagno completo.
    * Ampia area veranda coperta con molti posti a sedere, circondata su tre lati da montagne ... Leggere o semplicemente rilassarsi sorseggiando un caffè o un drink ... Cassieri ottiene un bel po 'di pioggia e non c'è niente come seduti sulla veranda coperta rannicchiato con il vostro libro preferito mentre si ascolta e guardare la pioggia. Godetevi sdraiati sul ponte dietro con set patio, soggiorno e poltrone molto comode.

    Vieni, rilassarsi e distendersi !!! Wade o pesce chiaro, ruscello di montagna freddo ... Esplora cascate, percorsi per il trekking per godere l'ambiente naturale di questa zona. Ascolta il calmante, burattatura acque del torrente, di assorbire i suoni della fauna selvatica delle serate di montagna! Questo è in vacanza al suo meglio! Non rimarrete delusi...

    A soli cinque miglia a Cassieri centro, Carolina del Nord. Dieci miglia a Highlands. Entrambi hanno molti bei campi da golf, ristoranti di prima classe, negozi di antiquariato e boutique. Per quelli di voi che amano mettere alla prova la dea bendata, non è che un breve un'ora di macchina ai casinò a Cherokee, Carolina del Nord. Al di là di Cherokee è Gatlinburg che è di circa un ora di distanza. Entrambi sono meravigliose strade panoramiche.

    Se si confrontano i tassi perche MOLTO ATTENTAMENTE. Abbiamo tutte le tasse e le esigenze di pulizia incluso nelle nostre tariffe quotate. Nessun costo!

Very quiet and secluded mountain retreat. If you think you don't know where you are going, it is just because you have not gone far enough. House has everything you need to disconnect and unwind. Stream in the back is lovely and we enjoyed the fire pit. No problems or concerns.

Perfect mountain getaway

This property is all about location. It’s on a quiet road with a running creek is a secluded and beautiful neighborhood. About 15 minutes to town where you can get everything you need for you trip and lots of restaurant options. Love seeing some of the upgrades from Bathrooms to living room furniture throughout the years. We will definitely be back.

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful forest cabin

This cabin in a deep forest cove was ideal for us. Quiet with the soothing sounds of the creek. The furnishings were nice and had everything we needed. Secluded, yet just 13 minutes away from town. Easy access to hiking locations as well as fishing on Lake Glenville. Tip: Save driving directions ahead of time as your GPS will likely think you’ve arrived ahead of the actual location. This is common with remote locations.

A little piece of Heaven

Every time I have stayed at this property it felt like coming home. We have been visiting the Cashiers area for almost 30 years and this is our favorite place that we have stayed. The home itself is very comfortable and well stocked. I love the kitchen! It is located in a very peaceful location that is secluded but close by the crossroads and our favorite sliding rock. The owner is always helpful and very quick to respond. We look forward to visiting this home away from home again soon. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a great place to get away, relax and soak in some nature. This year we even had a bear friend visit our first morning.

Mountain Getaway

This property was AMAZING to rent. It is perfectly clean and stocked with everything we needed (trash bags, dish soap, plenty of towels). Jacquelyn was very kind and helpful when I had questions during our stay. The pictures of the property do make it seem like there are no other houses near and there are a few houses within view, but you’re definitely still secluded and remote enough to enjoy the mountain life. The property is beautiful and falling asleep listening to the gurgling stream is delightful. I absolutely recommend you stay here if you want a remote mountain getaway.

The cottage is very peaceful. Not too far from restaurants and activities. The property lies next to a creek in the back which is nice. Rustic but clean. I would recommend.

Ideal location in the mountains

My family and I (2 adults and 2 kids under 6) just returned from our stay at the cabin. We had a lovely time. The setting is incredible - nestled deep in the woods with the sounds of the creek in the backyard. Our kids had a ball playing in the creek, running around the beautifully landscaped front yard, and swinging on the front porch swing. The location was convenient to a number of terrific hikes (not to mention boating activities on Lake Glenville). Our kids particularly loved Dry Falls since you can walk behind the falls a get a little wet! The cabin is well stocked and the linens were clean. We really appreciated having a washer and dryer during our stay. We anticipated there being no cell reception (and there isn't), but in addition the wifi was quite spotty and slow. I'm not sure if this is a recurring issue or not, but it didn't bother us much as there is so much to do outdoors. I would say that it seemed like the cabin was in need of a deep clean. Some corners (e.g. near the fireplace and TV) were dusty and had spider webs, and overall there was a musty smell, especially upstairs. All that being said, we had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting Cashiers again next summer.

Creek side Cabin

We spent a week at the cabin cooking and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. My kids loved the creek and wooded lot. My dog and I walked the secluded gravel road every morning and evening and my husband and I had wine every night on the back porch enjoying the sounds of the creek. The cabin is well designed and quaintly furnished. It’s a great home base for surrounding hikes or a great escape during these crazy times. WiFi works well if you need to work but I preferred just reading a book while my kids played and my husband strummed his guitar. Grateful for the break!

A Beautiful location, very peaceful stay

My wife and I took a weekend break from traveling a month in our Motor-coach and thoroughly enjoyed Lonesome Cove. We had never been in this part of NC before and could not have asked for a more peaceful, private cabin and great town for restaurants and shops. The fall colors were spectacular. We will return.

Perfect get away from the city

We had a nice peaceful weekend in the mountains. The property was just as described in the listing. I must also say the wifi worked great which is a plus in that area. The biggest treat was that Saturday we had a family of bears pass by in the front yard which was the first time my daughter had witnessed in the wild which to us it was amazing

Perfect getaway

The house is beautiful. Tucked back in the woods next to a stream with a waterfall. Inside it is decorated nicely and has everything you need to have a relaxing experience. I liked that the owners have included a binder with all kinds of information about the area, the house, and even some recipes. Also, the light switches and gas fireplace are all marked to make it easy to use. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is very well equipped, and the front porch is nice to hang out and relax. There are many trails and lookout points that are a short drive from the house. I would certainly visit again.

Perfect mountain getaway

This property is absolutely gorgeous. I spent most of my time on the back deck soaking in the peacefulness. I was very impressed with how well the kitchen was supplied. My family teases me because when we travel I take along my favorite cookware, (knives, a large pot or a crockpot). But it wasn’t necessary in this cabin. It had everything I needed to prepare home cooked meals right down to an apron. The landscaping is so pretty and the stream that runs through the property was a favorite spot for my 6 year old granddaughter. We have been visiting the cashiers area for 20 years and this was by far the best property we have ever stayed at. The owners were wonderful and very helpful. I look forward to more amazing restful vacations in the future.

Home sweet home

This home was definitely a home sweet home It was very comfortable for our family. Peaceful and such a blessing. Very well Kept and obviously loved and cared for by the owners. The owners were very easy to get in touch with , With any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this home. We just loved everything about it. Way better than Disney World!

My family had an absolute blast at the cabin! We planned this vacation before our youngest son had major surgery which comes with a rough 3 month recovery. It was also his birthday week. He caught his first fish in the creek in the back. My daughter also was able to reel in a couple. This was the most relaxing place on the planet. It is close enough to everything you need yet, secluded and private. We have all been to Disney World but they have it all wrong. Everyone was able to enjoy themselves here. Can't get total satisfaction from Disney. We are definitely looking to do this again perhaps even in the fall season. The owners have great accommodations and are just a phone call or text away. All you need is charcoal and fishing gear. The marina is a couple miles away up in neighboring Glenville and they rent pontoon boats for a fair price. Cashiers is a great town and the brewery there is great too! Don't pass up this opportunity to get some real peace and quiet and relax. No stress getaway. Thanks to Jacquelyn for making this happen! Everyone had an extraordinary time.

Location Location Location

This property is in an amazing location. It’s about 10 minutes from town so you can get your necessities from ingles and close to great restaurants. You’re completely submersed into the fresh air and beautiful mountains. It’s on a little stream and super quaint and quiet. The location just can’t be beat. It’s stashed with all the things you will need for a few days. We look forward to returning.

Perfect for our family! Off the highway, but still close to shopping and restaurants.

Everything you could possibly need - this cabin had everything! Even a lunch box for our lunch on one of our adventure days! Plenty of space for the family, yet quite cozy. We enjoyed the stream out back and the dogs enjoyed long walks and searching for sticks. We had a wonderful Christmas holiday, and we were all sad to leave. Will definitely return.
