  • Buckberry Lodge- 5 BR / 4. 5 log cabin bagno immerso in un paesaggio lussureggiante di piante perenni e rododendri nativi. Questa casa ha tre livelli ed è perfetto per una coppia, o la condivisione con gli amici o famiglia allargata. Il livello principale dispone di: cucina completamente attrezzata, che è aperta sulla zona pranzo 'Old Hickory'. La zona giorno a due piani ha un camino a legna, TV via cavo, VHS / DVD con abbondanza di comodi spazi di raccolta. Veranda pranzo e ponte aperto con grill a gas in acciaio. Mst. BR (Queen) ha una veranda privata schermato e ampio bagno con doccia e vasca idromassaggio. C'è un mezzo bagno appena fuori la foyer d'ingresso. Il livello superiore ha una vasca nella zona soppalcata tra le camere da letto. (2 gemelli, Queen) Il livello inferiore ha una camera familiare con camino a legna, tavolo da biliardo e accessori, piccola TV / VHS. Il ponte inferiore è dondoli e altri posti a sedere ed è accessibile dal salotto e due camere da letto più bassi (Queens in ognuno BR ha un bagno privato, e le altre parti un bagno di corridoio). La zona lavanderia è al livello inferiore. Grande area cortile con un piccolo sentiero che finisce in un bel fresco torrente. Buckberry Falls è una piccola zona nascosta, ma comoda a negozi, ristoranti, ospedale, trekking, e altro ancora. Main Street Highlands (circa 4 miglia) e cassieri (circa 10 miglia). NO animali domestici e NON fumare

Great home for family gathering in the Highlands

This was a great property to rent for a family gathering near Highlands. The management company was very welcoming and the home was as described online. Would highly recommend to anybody that needs a large home for family or friends.

Beautiful cabin in a fabulous area.

Location is perfect between Highlands and Cashiers. Lots of room for a large group. The pool table was a hit! The cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We will definitely visit again. Many thanks to the host!

Good Location, Needs an Exterminator

The house is well-located between Downtown Cashiers and Highlands, but it clearly has not been rented or used recently. The beds were dusty, there were dead bugs in all the window sills, we had to kills spiders and ants every day inside the house, towels and linens were old and low quality. If you have multiple cars, there is no room to turn around in the driveway and getting in and out of it is difficult. Overall very average and probably the dirtiest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in.

Perfect house in a great location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house to attend a family reunion. It was perfect for our group as each family had their own floor for bedrooms and baths. The checkin process was easy. The rental office was not far from the house , which was convenient. The house was clean upon arrival . Communication with the rental office was great - very responsive to questions or concerns. Very quiet location. Check out instructions were minimal with easy key drop off. Only complaint is that there is no trash service at the house. Although the transfer station (convenience center) is close by, we had to make a run every day to get rid of trash and recycle. Otherwise, a great stay and perfect for a large group. Would recommend staying here if you are in the beautiful Highlands area.

Plenty of room as described, location was great as we played golf and took in activities at the beautiful Old Edwards Club and The Saddle at Glen Cove. Great customer service as we did not know how to program the AC (it was a new unit and required Blue Tooth) but Mr. Chambers came over and took care of the only issue that we had. We will be back at Thanksgiving!!!Thank you!

Great House in Highlands, NC

My family had a wonderful time staying at 170 Buckberry Road. The house was clean and plenty big for our group of seven. Further, the location was perfect as it was between Highlands and Cashiers, and near several great hiking trails and waterfalls. We did not encounter any problems during our stay. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

Thanksgiving Get-A-Way

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Large house on 3 floors...perfect for a large family. In my case there was my wife and myself, and two daughters and there family...we all had our own floor! The kitchen had everything you need to prepare a large meal. The property was close to town and secluded. Abundant things to do; shopping, zip lining, sight seeing...there are numerous waterfalls nearby and in our case a slope for sledding. On the down side the house is drafty and groceries are expensive. We missed the colors of fall but I would not hesitate to book the property again.

Absolutely wonderful cabin in Highlands

The cabin was perfect! The only thing that was not perfect is that the maids put soiled dirty towels back in the closet and up on the rack as if they were clean. That was the colored towels downstairs. Each one smelled like someone’s body odor. They did it clean under the bed my 3 year old found a condom wrapper. Other than that the cabin itself was perfect! Just need a different cleaning team.

Loved the wood and open beams. The location was excellent, furnishings were great, pool table was a great surprise. Loved it all.
