Moss Hill Cottage è l'eleganza della montagna racchiusa in questo cottage con due camere da letto e due bagni situato in una stradina tranquilla a poco più di 3 miglia da Main Street Highlands. Tutto ad un livello facile, troverai un portico d'ingresso coperto che copre tutta la lunghezza della casa e offre comodi posti a sedere che si affacciano su un'alta pineta. Tutto è stato rimodellato e aggiornato per la stagione 2016. La cucina è parzialmente aperta alle zone pranzo e soggiorno. La sala da pranzo può ospitare comodamente 6 persone. La zona giorno ha un camino a legna in pietra, TV a schermo piatto e accesso al portico coperto. Il Mst. BR ha un letto king size, TV e offre una zona lettura / ufficio separata tra la zona notte e il bagno Mst. La camera degli ospiti ha un letto matrimoniale, TV e condivide il bagno del corridoio.

Una piccola area del cortile è dove troverete la griglia a carbone e la torre del pozzo del fuoco e un paio di sedie per rilassarsi. (L'area del cortile è accessibile dal parcheggio o dalla cucina). L'armadio della lavanderia si trova accanto alla sala da pranzo.

Gli animali domestici possono essere ammessi, ma solo a discrezione del proprietario e con $ 150. 00 tassa non rimborsabile per animali domestici. NON fumare all'interno.

Great little cabin - convenient to town, quiet location and great cabin in the woods feel. Updated interior, but still has that old cabin feel. Highly recommended.

Our stay was lovely in this clean, comfortable old cabin. I had some trouble communicating with the receptionist at Chambers Realty. She couldn’t open the signed contract via email so we mailed it and she couldn’t find it in the mail. There was no sense of urgency on her part to resolve the issues. It was strange.

We stayed 2 nights for Fall Break . The house was cozy & very clean! No frills house, but had everything we needed to enjoy. It rained the whole weekend but we made the best of it by bringing board games, reading and relaxing. The only potential critique is that the towels that were hung in the master bathroom smelled bad like they could use a good bleaching. However we just pulled a few fresh towels from the hall closet and we were fine! Hall closet towels were new, bright white and soft. Overall great stay, thank you!

This property was well-cared for and accurately represented. It was a rainy weekend, so we were not able to use the charcoal grill or the fire pit on the back "patio," but the ample covered front porch gave us some outside space for morning coffee. The cute and cozy décor made the small living area inviting, and we played cards at the large dining table and enjoyed a movie in front of the wood-burning fireplace. I would stay there again. The bed was comfortable enough, but cramped quarters in the spare bedroom. Clean and close to town.

With the rest of our family dispersed in different directions for Thanksgiving this year, my husband and I took advantage of the opportunity to spend our first ever "Thanksgiving for two" in the mountains.. This turned out to be the perfect spot. The kitchen is small but well appointed and had everything we needed to pull together a traditional Thanksgiving meal. The living space with a wood burning fireplace was a great place to read or enjoy holiday football on the flat screen TV. Note - the rental agreement says you need to order your own fire wood, which we did, but the message from the owners inside the home appears to be an offer to share their ample supply. The king bed in the master is VERY comfortable, and the separate sitting /dressing area off of the master with a makeup mirror was a very nice touch. Note- unless you like very firm, very thick pillows, consider bringing your own. The expansive front porch is a great place for coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening. We far prefer the Weber kettle charcoal grill available here to the gas grills that come with many rentals, and Dusty's on the edge of Highlands toward Sky Valley has fantastic steaks to throw on the grill. Their frozen biscuits are as good as any home made and make a great breakfast treat, so don't miss those. Moss Hill Cottage was just what we were looking for our Thanksgiving getaway, and we are already checking our calendars to figure out when we can return.

We had a very nice stay at this two bedroom cottage. The porch was awesome and the home was in good condition for an older cottage but has been updated. The weather was great the location is only a few miles from town. We would book this again.
