Famosa Whiteside Mountain in NC. IL RISTRUTTURAMENTO ESTENSIVO È ORA COMPLETO! Una vista panoramica mozzafiato sulle montagne a lunga distanza da questa sbalorditiva casa in stile lodge di lusso che ha subito un rinnovamento completo e sarà disponibile per gli ospiti il 6 agosto. Situato tra Highlands e Cassieri, NC. Questa spaziosa casa dispone di quattro camere da letto ciascuna con una
bagno privato, essenzialmente quattro master suite. La grande sala grande è ancorata da un enorme camino in pietra e di fronte a un muro di finestre con vista mozzafiato su Shortoff Mountain, Yellow Mountain e oltre ai monti Balsam e Blue Ridge Parkway. Queste viste sono ancora più impressionanti dall'enorme portico coperto che si espande 33 per 27 piedi con il nuovo camino a gas.
Questa casa è una breve passeggiata per i sentieri della Whiteside Mountain, include facilmente i panorami più pittoreschi del North Carolina, se non dell'intero U. S.
La ristrutturazione completa include tutti i nuovi bagni, la nuova cucina con tutti i nuovi elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile e i nuovi controsoffitti in pietra, i nuovi pavimenti in tutta la casa, la camera da letto ampliata per diventare suite completa con vista sulle montagne e la conversione del secondo piano per diventare una grande suite padronale. Wonderful home! We have stayed at this property multiple times and highly recommend. Rooms are big enough to set up beds for smaller children and everything is top notch. The fireplace is wonderful in cooler weather! Owners are easy to communicate with - super nice home!

Beautiful home and very comfortable w gorgeous Mountain View. Most fully equipped and usable kitchen we’ve ever experienced in a VRBO. So convenient to have the Whiteside Mountain hike just an easy walk from our front door. The wood burning fireplace in the great room was excellent but we could never get the gas fireplace on the porch fired up and this seems to be a chronic problem based on other reviews. The home has recently been upgraded and was perfect for three adult couples and would stay again for sure.

This house is fabulous, and Wendy and Ron were so easy to communicate with. We enjoyed views for miles! The bedrooms were all equipped with very comfortable beds, and the kitchen and bathrooms were full of everything you could possibly need! The house is located halfway between Highlands and Cashiers so both are easily accessible. I can’t put a strong enough recommendation on it!

Beautiful Getaway

I checked the Highlands was magical. We were celebrating our friends 40th birthday and had a group of eight women. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen, gorgeous, and we loved having our morning coffee outside by the fire. This was a magical trip and we enjoyed so much quality time together in a beautiful setting. The hosts were wonderful and communicative, And so easy to work with. We traveled during a hectic time after Helene, and we were so thankful that the property and the family were all safe. We hope to come back and stay at the same location again soon!

I’m tempted

To say ‘don’t stay here’ so I can be sure to have it open for me when we return—in the spring and fall, and maybe summer too. Incredible views and easy walk to the both Whiteside Mountain trail-arguably the most stunning and most popular in western NC. Easily accommodated the 4 couples. Porch with fireplace and views that don’t quit. Kitchen has 3 of everything you need. Also, these are the most responsive hosts I have ever worked with.

Hurricane Helene Stay

We traveled to this VRBO for our dear friend's daughter's wedding knowing Hurricane Helene was predicted to hit. And boy did it. This home is fabulous. Everything we needed and more. Our group ended up being fewer and much to our surprise the VRBO was equipped with a large generator that kicked in during the midst of the hurricane when power went off. The generator ran for 30 hours before we decided to leave a day early. Up until the time the cell towers went down our hosts were reaching out, concerned, very accommodating and gracious. Just the best! Highly recommend this VRBO. Though we didn't get to enjoy the amazing view we had one 5 min glimpse of how spectacular it is.

Beautiful home with amazing views

This property is a short drive outside of Highlands. It offers arguably some of the best views and the home itself is beautiful. The kitchen is great, there are spacious decks and ample parking (something that isn't always the case with mountain homes). Would definitely stay again.

Great location and excellent views

Stayed here during spring break with my family. The house was great, plenty of room and clean. Great location between highlands and cashiers. The views were very good. It s also walking distance to one of the best trails on the area. Owners were responsive when we had an issue.

Adult girls getaway

We had an amazing girls getaway to this beautiful mountain home! We built a lovely fire in the great room and enjoyed the incredible scenic views from the panoramic windows. Kitchen was fully stocked with all of the tools we needed to prep meals for the weekend. The space heaters were helpful to keep us warm since the weather never got above freezing that weekend. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return when the weather is warmer and we can explore the area more.

Outstanding home with all of the amenities

What a beautiful home with wonderful views!! We had 7 adults and 2 children under 2 and everyone had the most comfortable accommodations. The home is perfectly located to walk to one of Highlands most sought after hiking trails. The wood burning fireplace is stunning and the house beds were very comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Could not ask for anything more in a vacation rental. Also, the hosts are very responsive!!

Inaccurate bedroom situation

The house was fine. Loved the outdoor area. We had 4 adult couples and the bedroom whose door leads to the kitchen has 2 small beds which beside location was too small for 2 adults. In the downstairs rec room was a bed in the corner. Really not a 4 bedroom house. It would have been nice to have shower soap provided. What soap was there had hairs in it.
