Recentemente rinnovato con una bella cucina con armadi personalizzati, controsoffitti quarzo e nuovi elettrodomestici. Vernice fresca in colori aggiornati dentro e fuori, bagni aggiornati e aria condizionata nella casa principale e cottage per gli ospiti. Amerai il cottage degli ospiti con il proprio bagno e wet bar.  Perfetto per famiglie o coppie che viaggiano insieme.



Immerso in una rigogliosa foresta di rododendri con alti calanchi, il Wonderfall Cottage bilancia la remota serenità con la vicinanza alla città. Osserva la Satulah Mountain dal portico anteriore, ascolta una cascata di 100 piedi a pochi passi dalla veranda protetta, o visita pittoreschi negozi e ristoranti sulla Main Street delle Highlands, a soli 5 minuti di auto.



Wonderfall offre un'esperienza di vacanza a distanza senza sacrificare comfort e servizi moderni. Il novellista Pat Conroy e sua moglie Cassandra King Conroy sono rimasti a Wonderfalls 2-3 settimane alla volta per 4 anni consecutivi prima che Pat scomparisse. Amavano la privacy che questa casa offriva loro!

This is a wonderful location! Very easily accessible to downtown but you feel tucked into the mountains. It is peaceful, quiet and has a well maintained outdoor space. It is in the mountains so you do need to be prepared that bugs get inside etc, but overall it was very clean. Kitchen could use a few more cookware pieces but we managed to cook several meals without much difficulty. Would definitely recommend.

Serene Setting.

The house was great and the setting was beautiful. The house was clean and very well appointed.....All the furniture and beds were very comfortable and nice looking. The fireplace was an added bonus and worked beautifully. I would definitely rent this property again.

Perfect place - beautiful views

Needed a place close to downtown for our family. We were in town for a family wedding. Wonderfall Cottage was perfect. Morning coffee at the waterfall watching the sun come up over the mountain was so beautiful. Communication with property manager and maintenance guy was easy and timely. The lavender pillow spray was a nice added touch. The town of Highland and Wonderfall Cottage are definitely a hidden gems. Thank you letting us stay.

One hiccup, otherwise a nice stay

PROS: 1) The view from the front porch is beautiful. 2) The waterfall is lovely to listen to from the screened-in porch and master bedroom. 3) The kitchen is nicely updated and well equipped. 4) The house lay-out is nice for a family. It has two bedrooms on one side of the living space and the master on the opposite side. CONS: 1) There is no cell service from this house. My husband and I have two different carriers - Verizon and AT&T and we had no bars with either. For some this might be a positive. 2) The water heater went out overnight and I called the maintenance person listed on the materials we were provided upon check-in. He said he would be out early to mid afternoon. He never showed. After a second call he came midday the following day. Not a huge inconvenience, but we did not get to shower before heading into town for dinner or the following morning. 3) The guest house is tiny and smells moldy. We had contemplated inviting another couple to join us, but glad we did not.

Great house

This is the perfect mountain get away home. Waterfall outside the house. Beautiful sunrise views. 5 min from downtown highlands. The house is great plenty of room for a family or group of friends.

Stunning views and property

We spent a girls weekend at this cottage and enjoyed it immensely. The location is quiet and beautiful, yet a close enough drive to downtown Highlands. The home was beautifully maintained and well stocked with everything we needed.

The Best of Highlands

This property had everything we wanted and more! The home is thoughtfully laid out, the kitchen has modern appliances, the decor and open concept make the perfect space for all of the guests to spend time together. The porch is large and comfortable, the view of Satullah Mountain via the front porch rocking chairs, and the adorable guest cottage all provide even more of what you're looking for. Last but not least, this property sits right next to a beautiful waterfall! That's right! A waterfall with tables and chairs for enjoying is just a few steps from the screened porch. We all want to come back, time and time again!!

Beautiful property, amazing views!

We had a wonderful girls trip, all thanks to this lovely property. It was exactly as described, beautiful views and the waterfall just steps away was very soothing and could even be heard inside. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We didn’t want to leave!

Wonderful House, June 2021

Upon arrival I thought the house was a bit "grimy." We have stayed in mt. homes before, beach bungalows in FL. condos, etc. I washed food off the white kitchen cabinets, washed down the stove as the top and handles were greasy, refrigerator, counter tops. We washed the entry way rugs as they were very soiled. The table top was an embarrassment to serve guests, so I bought an inexpensive table cloth. I found the placemats, but they had dried food and stains on them so I soaked them in dish soap and cleaned them. We cleaned cobwebs from window ceils and the screened porch. The carriage house is not fit for anyone to sleep in which makes it a 3 bedroom house than a 4 bedroom house. The mattress is uncomfortable and creaky, and the dampness and mold odor are very strong. The owners should put in a small dehumidifier and buy a new mattress. So we felt we were overcharged since it was a 3 bedroom not a 4 bedroom house. The guest who had planned to stay in the carriage house only used it for the bathroom. The location is great, and is literally 5 minutes from downtown. The dishes and kitchen equipment were great, the porch lovely, the waterfall exceptional. Nice spacious living room, excellent technology...but the power went out the first night and came back on at 3:00 AM and then went off again a couple of nights later. We finally got thru to the rental agent via text as the house phone didn't work due to the outage and she called the power company for us. She was helpful and offered our money back if we wanted to vacate the premises, but family had already planned vacation time off from work, so we couldn't do that. I don't think clients should have to go in and clean when renting.

A lovely home in a great location

We had a wonderful stay at the 'waterfall' house tucked away in the highlands! The house was clean and exactly as advertised, the waterfall access was a feature that the whole family enjoyed. We appreciated the location that was private while being close to the downtown Highlands area. Would stay here again!

Loved the Waterfall House

The house was beautiful and well appointed. Make sure if you book here you turn on the right when you see the sign for 189 the 185 sign is hidden on the right. It is one way coming in and out but we never encountered another vehicle. Very comfortable and I recommend buying the firewood. So cozy
