“This hotel is located in a narrow street filled with several bars and restaurants. It is perfect if you would like to go out to eat. But the noise from outside is quite significant . Our room was on the second floor, just above the bars/restaurants and we could not sleep until mid night. The room did not have any air conditioning system, except two fans that one of them was broken. We had to close the windows because of the outside noise, so the room was quite hot. “The location was great! Close to all major attractions, Anne Frank house, museums, etc. Even though you are right in the city, the location is very quiet at night. Only caution I would provide is regarding steep staircases to second and 3rd floor which given the age of the building, I'd consider the norm. However, if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. The staff was super responsive and communicated via text promptly.”

The location was perfect for all we wanted to do and Isabel was very approachable and helpful, answering any questions we had. We loved Amsterdam and when we return we would hope to stay at Mercedes BnB again.”
