“The housekeeping was a joke. For a 5 nights stay they never cleaned the bathroom (just changed the towels and the toilet paper) and never changed the bed. They took the garbage from the room though, daily . You have to get used to live in your own dirt. Breakfast was average with limited choices. Restaurant offered outstanding food of superb quality and taste, but the menu was limited. The gym is way above average and top notch for the level of the hotel. “L'aria condizionata era rumorosa ed inutilizzabile perché scorreva sulla moquette. La doccia si occludeva dopo due minuti e straripava sul pavimento. Mancava lo scopino pulisci water. Chiudendo a chiave la porta del bagno interno si restava bloccati per la maniglia semirotta!.Per tre volte (su sei) non ci hanno rifatto la stanza!!!. “Many years ago, my wife and I had meals here when we lived in St Neots which were much enjoyed, but given we moved away from the area, it's been a long time. My daughter lives in St Neots again now and I needed a place to stay overnight. Having used Premier Inns generally, if the price was right, I decided to book, but was astounded to find they wanted £150 for a Tuesday night! I had noticed the extention on the Eaton Oak many times, and managed to get a room at a very reasonable price of £84...

“In spite of the friendly and helpful staff, unfortunately the property need significant investment to thrive. Very dated, bathrooms need replacing, doors need replacing, windows are small. It looks as though bedding is washed domestically rather than commercially, leaving tired staines on bedding. If you are young and need a cheap place to stay then this will be totally fine. However, if you have learned to appreciate the nicer things in life, then spend more and enjoy a different hotel. We got...
