Ian wanted a discount and sadly chose to focus on anything negative he could find at the property during his stay. We will let the other reviews of our property speak for themselves on both this platform and others. We would also suggest that Ian buys his own holiday home so he doesn't need to bother with other people's.

Hi Craig. Thanks for staying at our home. Sorry you were disappointed you had to provide linen for your stay. If you re-read the property description you’ll see this requirement is mentioned in the listing information so should not come as a surprise to guests. I also sent out further information about six days prior to your stay to the mobile number you used to make your booking. The number was not able to be reached for some reason so that info was not received at your end. This made communicating with you more difficult than usual. Also sad that you found our expectations too much. We feel we are very clear in our Stayz description, that we expect our guests treat our home as though it were their own. 🤷‍♀️ Hopefully you’ll have better experiences at other properties in future. Apologies for the state of the second fridge/freezer. Previous guests had turned the appliance off at the wall which is very frustrating 🤦‍♀️ and was unnoticed by the cleaners who were at the house immediately after the guests checked out.

Thanks for your review. Unfortunately the group who stayed immediately prior to you did upset the neighbours and somewhat understandably, they were a little more we sensitive than usual. Thank you for respecting our home and the neighbourhood. We hope to have you stay again in the future.

While we appreciate your positive comments, we are appalled by the way in which your group behaved whilst staying at our home. You were made fully aware of our expectations right from the time of your original booking, with subsequent property information in the lead up to your stay and also when we had to call twice to let you know our neighbours had concerns about your group’s conduct on Saturday evening. Smoking is not permitted in or at our property and this is made abundantly clear - there is even signage. Noise levels after 9pm need to be kept to a minimum so as not to upset our neighbours and no more than four/five cars are to be parked at our property. You did not adhere to any of these requirements and others we may not yet be aware of. To then get a phone call from a neighbour at 4:25am on Sunday morning to be told the police had been called as members of your group were brawling in the street is utterly disgraceful and embarrassing. We feel you misled us about your intentions for the weekend. You obviously threw a party at our home and we make it very clear this is not acceptable. Your group certainly did not treat our home or our neighbourhood with the respect we make it clear we require and that you assured us you would. Various parts of the house have been damaged and we also now have a fist sized hole in the wall beside our front door. We are very upset, as are our neighbours. It’s not good enough and none of you would ever be welcome back. What a disgraceful way for adults to behave.
