“The room with a separate, well equipped kitchenette, was clean and well presented. Could do with updating, particularly the bathroom, but would certainly stay there again. Check in was easy and staff were pleasant and helpful. The food at Flames Restaurant, which was on site, was excellent and the meals were large. Good service as well. Great location close to town with onsite parking.”

“Another excellent stay, the staff are very friendly and helpful, across the road is the Tides Hotel in the same ownership where you can dine, the food is first class with great staff I would strongly recommend staying here. ”

“We've been here for few days. The room was really big, clean and comfortable (with dvd player and a lot of dvds to rent from the reception!). Wifi works very well and the owners are very very kind and nice. The best place absolutely in Nelson!!!!!”

“Had a very pleasant stay in their family unit. Room was very spacious, with a nicely renovated bathroom. Got a yummy fresh bottle of milk at check-in, which was a pleasant surprise! Walking distance to the playground and beach. The room was in the front facing the main road so despite the double-glazed windows, you can hear trucks. I would request a room in the back if available next time but otherwise, will stay again!”
