Tucked away at the end of a private ¼-mile wooded drive, Winding Wood Cabin offers total privacy and a fully renovated luxury experience. With a private swimming pond, expansive 3-level deck, home theater, and arcade, it is the perfect hideaway for families and groups looking to unplug and reconnect.

We live just down the road and work on the property in our spare time. Our team handles the maintenance and management with as little interruption to guests as possible. Routine outdoor maintenance for the property is typically scheduled after 10 am for lawn, pond, hot tub, firewood, etc. Hot tub maintenance is communicated with guests in advance.

The layout is designed for easy flow, featuring wide 36" doorways and a custom ramp to the front door, ensuring everyone in your group can enjoy the main-level living, kitchen, and gathering spaces together.

The heart of the home is the open-concept living room, featuring soaring ceilings and a grand stone fireplace (wood provided)—the perfect spot for cozy evenings after a day on the water.

The cabin sleeps up to 18 guests comfortably. We provide high-quality linens, extra pillows, blankets, and clothing storage (luggage racks/hanging rods) in every room.

The outdoor space is a destination in itself. An expansive 3-level wrap-around deck serves as your outdoor living room, featuring dining areas, a private hot tub, and festive string lights overlooking the water.
- The Pond: A private ¼-acre organically maintained pond. Spend your days swimming, exploring in the 2 kayaks, or cruising on the paddleboat (life jackets provided).
- Fishing: The pond is stocked! Catch-and-release fishing is welcome (bring your own gear).
- Relaxation: Gather around the large fire pit with built-in bench seating right by the water, or unwind on the front porch swing, gliders, and rocking chairs in the landscaped courtyard.
- Note: All water activities are at your own risk.

🛟 For guests enjoying time around the pond, we provide four adult life vests. These are available for guest use during your stay and offer an additional safety option while enjoying the pond. For your convenience, the cabin is equipped with a clothes drying rack, making it easy to air-dry swimsuits, towels, and other items during your stay.

🐶 Dog-Friendly
- Dogs are welcome with prior approval.
- $150 for the first dog.
- $50 per additional dog.
- We provide dedicated dog blankets to keep your furry friends comfortable.

Perfect for regional gatherings, we are positioned just 10 minutes off the I-80/Tollway—roughly 30 to 45 minutes from Akron and Cleveland, and within easy reach of Youngstown and Pittsburgh.

ℹ️ Additional Notes
- Check-in: Private entrance with keypad self-check-in.
- Primary guest must be at least 25 years old and present for the duration of the stay.
- Climate: Central A/C supplemented by portable fans.
- Security: Exterior cameras monitor entry points.

Early Check-In & Late Check-Out Policy:
Your standard check-in time is 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM. If you’d like to arrive a little earlier or enjoy some extra time before heading home, early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request, with at least 24 hours’ advance notice and an additional fee. These options depend on availability and unfortunately aren’t possible on same-day turnovers.

To help our cleaning team stay on schedule for the next guests, departure times are verified through our smart lock system and security cameras. Unapproved late departures are subject to a $50 starting fee, increasing to 50% of the nightly rate for departures after 12:00 PM. Our cleaning team may enter the home as early as 10:15 AM to begin preparing for the next stay.

Step-Free Entry: Winding Wood Cabin offers step-free access into the home via a ramp. There is only a small lip at the entrance, making the entry easy and accessible for guests using wheelchairs or mobility aids.

🧳 Lost & Found
We know things can occasionally get left behind after a stay! If you think you may have forgotten something, just send us a message and we’ll be happy to check with our team. While we’re not responsible for personal belongings left at the property, we’ll always do our best to help when we can. Found items are held for 30 days. If you’d like an item shipped back to you, we can arrange this at the guest’s expense, along with a $25 handling fee. Oversized items are subject to a $40 handling fee. Local pickup may also be arranged when possible. 📦
