Checking in and out is very problematic. We arrived at 4PM but the reception was closed. Checking in at the restaurant next door lasted 30’ as the only one who new how that worked was also the only one with a gaming license and was not available!! Checking out was even worse: we left at 9.30 AM and the reception was closed AGAIN!! The restaurant opens at 11AM so there was nobody present and check out is before 10AM. Ridiculous. The food in the restaurant is good ad are the employees working there. Cleaning of the room is not or poorly done.

Good MorningWe are sorry about your experience.0n the reception window you would have seen instructions to see a staff in the restaurant to help you.Our reception is limted as and which is explained to everyone that books on the booking webpage that you have booked on, as we only have a small amount of rooms.The opening times is also explained on the reception registration that you signed on checkin.We do have a key drop box next to the reception door exit which you drop you key into on leaving which is all we need to complete your stay.We service rooms everyday and have great housekeepers that take care of your rooms.If there was any issues we would have loved for you to please come and speak to housekeeping staff or the manager on Duty while you are here and we could have looked at and discussed.Thankyou

It was great to have a restaurant and bar on the premises The ataff were all friendly and very helpful The room & linen was ultra clean the towels lovely and fluffy Only thing that was hard for us was the stairs and no lift.

Great place for overnight stay in Hobart, went superior triple room and for the price, it was excellent. Fantastic menu in the pub as well.

The staff at the black buffalo are the best, so friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem, room was clean and spacious, have stayed in more expensive accommodation that wasn’t as good, will definitely be back ☺️

I loved my stay it was walking distance to everything i wanted, staff in the dining room were very nice and very friendly. The meals were great and very quick to come out

Home from home!
Certainly fulfilled my criteria of Clean, Comfortable and convenient! The staff was so friendly and helpful! Such a shame they didn’t do breakfast as the evening meals were excellent! I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again! 😉👍

Our room was old and dated. Shower over old bath which had hair in it. We have stayed in renovated rooms before which are ok. Sorry but won’t be going back. Restaurant used to be packed but after eating there I can understand why it wasn’t.

Hi there,Sorry about your experience.The rooms are slightly older and this is why we keep the price below other rooms and hotel rates.Did you speak to anyone in regards to the hair found as we could have fixed the problem immediately.Winter is usually a quite time, Did you dine in the restuarant if so was there a problem with the meal you had.Thankyou for your feedback and i ahve passed on the appropriate staff.

Hi John,We do have Hairdryers on request with all staff as we have had multiple hairdryers stolen in the last months and we have had to take the remainder out of the rooms.

The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom fan went continuously, which might make it hard for some guests to sleep.

Stay here quite a bit and the rooms are a bit dated but they are clean and represent excellent value , food is very good , and I have found it very quiet over night

I liked the friendliness of the staff but I was in room 3 which had a noisy bathroom exhaust fan that had no switch to control it. Even with the bathroom door closed it was noisy. The room, however, was clean and comfortable.
