Our room had been recently redecorated and was in pristine condition, good and comfortable bed, bathroom a little on the small side but perfectly fine. Nice, quiet countryside location, set in lovely grounds in a historic house in which Garibaldi stayed during his visit to Britain. We felt so welcome here - the kindest, most welcoming people, and very cosy, spotless, pretty rooms, with welcome baskets of much-appreciated snacks. Very comfy, quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we needed. We will definitely stay again on our trips to visit family locally.”
