“we were put in a top floor room in the school masters house which unfortunately was closest to the main room which could noisy at times. Breakfast was good altho there seem better options on Saturday than Friday eg Fresh fruit/fruit salad. Staff in the Breakfast Room were attentive and worked were hard ”

“Impressive in arrival this countryside hotel and conference centre at first glance appeals. There is also ample parking. Many hotels allow early check in if one arrives ahead of check in time. Moat House staff were less accommodating and seemed to have a hard and fast rule. However, when we sat in the lobby with our suitcases and backpacks half an hour ahead of check in time, they quickly and pleasantly attended to us. “Lovely location with beautiful views. We had asked if we could have a room with a view, but on arrival we were given ground floor which was quite dark inside and overlooking the rooms accross from ours, we were moved to an upper floor again overlooking the next accommodation block and a little brighter, if you book try and get one with a view. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom shower cubicle leaked water and the shower head kept dropping so had to keep adjusting it really needs a new...
