Escape to the Wild Heart of the Lowveld Nestled on a 2,800-hectare private nature reserve just 20 km north of Hoedspruit our remote garden cottage is now available for month-to-month rental — the perfect base for extended exploration of the Hoedspruit area and the surrounding KNP. A Landscape like No Other At the confluence of two perennial rivers, our pristine riverine habitat offers a rare, undulating terrain — far from the typical flat Lowveld. Enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the Northern Drakensberg and the enchanting Mica Koppies. Free from very dangerous game like lion, elephant and buffalo, and the reserve is a haven for adventures without immediate danger and provides a safer bush environment for Walking in savannah and riverine habitat, Mountain biking (easy and technical), birdwatching, self drive day and night game drives and technical 4x4 (Cottage is accessible by high clearance sedan however much of the reserve requires a 4x4 to explore, Fishing in both the Blyde River and Olifants river . Common animals on our reserve include Leopard, hyena, hippo, crocodile, honey badgers, porcupines, aardvarks, baboons, giraffe, vultures, fish eagles kudu, waterbuck, impala are all frequent sightings — the wild spirit of Africa lives here. The Cottage — Simple, Soulful, and Connected Perched on the edge of a seasonal drainage line: Your Gateway to Greater Kruger, 70 km to KNP Orpen Gate, 65 km to Phalaborwa Gate. Ideal for longer stays — more than 30 days and less than a 6-month lease. Rates negotiable based on stay length & return visitors.
