  • Villa Gemoedsrus was completed in early 2019. This brand new hidden gem has a stylish design and is fully equipped. The villa is perched on Zandspruit Bush & Aero Estate and because of this location it offers you a breathtaking view of the beautiful Kleine Drakensberg, from the house, the private swimming pool and the sun terrace of 25m².



    The villa has 2 bright bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and wonderful outdoor showers. The bedrooms are all pictures and furnished with an eye for detail, style and design. The luxurious open kitchen has a breakfast bar, American fridge, oven, combination microwave and dishwasher. In the utility room you will find a washing machine and dryer. The attractively furnished living room has a fireplace (very welcome for the cool winter evenings) TV and comfortable sofa. Villa Gemoedsrus offers very fast WiFi through a Fiber network.



    From the heated private pool you have a wonderful bush and mountain view. The partly covered spacious terrace has 4 sun beds and a lounge set. The delicious boma adjacent to the terrace is the place to enjoy the South African starry sky and the panoramic view in the evening.

    All accommodations of Homes of Africa are located on Zandspruit Bush & Aero Estate (Hoedspruit, Limpopo), an area of ​​1000 hectares of pristine and beautiful South African bush where only guests and residents of Zandspruit Estate have free access. On Zandspruit Estate there are harmless wild animals, which means that you can come face to face with a zebra or giraffe during a walk. So you can go on a “game drive” in your own backyard!



    Within 5 minutes you are in the cozy village of Hoedspruit with several fantastic restaurants, supermarkets and shops. Kruger National Park and Panorama Route are just 40 minutes away and you can enjoy endless game drive safari in the surrounded game reserve. Villa Gemoedsrus is the ideal spot to discover South Africa on your own pace!

Een heerlijk verblijf

De ligging en de indeling van het huis is prachtig met een fenomenaal uitzicht. Een aantal spullen in de keuken en het meubilair van zowel binnen als buiten raakt enigszins gedateerd. Een upgrade zou heel goed zijn en is aan te bevelen.

Een top verblijf

We hadden een heerlijke tijd in villa gemoedsrus die van alle gemakken is voorzien. We voelde ons al snel thuis. Het uitzicht op de bergen is prachtig. Er komen een hoop mooie vogeltjes voorbij of even wassen in de plas bij het huis. Rondom het huis werden andere huizen gebouwt en achter de villa ligt een school. Het is daarom denk ik dat de dieren zoals zebra en giraffe zich niet laten zien. Wel de kleinere dieren zoals baboon, zwijntje, nyala komen langs. Er zou een extra overgang naar de wildernis kunnen zijn rondom die villa nu als je wilt wandelen moet je best een stuk terug lopen om de wildernis in te komen.
