The room and facility was fine, but this small town has very little to offer. We chose Hofsos because of the Sundlaug pool and hot baths, but they were mostly closed for maintenance.

Only problem is that booking with hotels.com, I was not provided with the entry code, the room numbers, the room codes and not even a correct phone number… arriving late in the rain with tired kids was not pleasant. Matti Guesthouse
A very cozy and comfortable guesthouse, Matti is perfect for a couple looking for a quiet place to stay. It is well appointed, communication with the owners was fantastic, and was a welcome stop after a long day of driving.
