“Check in nullo (mi son state lasciate le chiavi e addio) check out peggio (non c'e posto dove lasciare le chiavi, tutto spento e chiuso.. pulizia nulla ( camera pulita 1 volta in 2 settimane) porte e pareti spesse come un foglio di carta, porta del bagno completamente imbarcata e non si chiude, finestra con serratura rotta che non si chiude.. camera davvero piccola!”

“The hotel is extremely well situated right on the front and close to the pier. It is currently undergoing some much-needed maintenance, leading to some unwelcome building noise and obstructions. There were a number of issues with our room, including a shower which would not drain properly, and dodgy wifi, leading also to problems with the TV. “It was very shabby and it smelt bad. It is conveniently situated for the centre of Clacton but it was very noisy and so I didn't sleep well. There was very little space in the bathroom. They don't do breakfasts so I had to schlep round town in the heat trying to find somewhere. On a positive note the gentleman was very friendly and welcoming when I checked in.”

“The ground floor room was fine, with easy access to the parking area. The shower room was very clean and modern; the bedding was immaculate on a comfortable bed; it was a shame the carpet hadn't been vacuumed. We would have liked a small fridge and a second opening window as the weather was exceedingly hot, but we appreciated the air conditioning. “Really comfortable bed. Super clean. Great for a couple of nights stay. Close to the University to meet up with our daughter. Would recommend the Beth Chatto Garden near by for a visit. ”

“Situated near the station and at the top of the main drag, this hotel is in dire need of some tlc. They do appear to have a programme of renovations in hand, but our corner room had several cracked window panes and dated furnishings. The sink does not have a mixer tap, and the hot water is scalding, while there is almost no water pressure for the shower. “De accommodatie is eenvoudig en verouderd en erg warm. Ontbijt wordt in het restaurant geserveerd er naast en is niet heel uitgebreid, weinig keus, pancakes waren koud. De accomodatienaam klopt niet en het adres wat er bij staat ook niet, dit gaat om een andere accomodatie van Premier Inn, dit is verwarrend!! ”

“Two adults stayed. Used both bedrooms. Very hot but able to open windows. Enjoyed the upstairs outside deck when we were there. Useful having washing machine. Plenty of street parking, but tight spaces & don’t rely on parking directly outside. Bathroom tiny but fit for purpose. Easy walk to beach front. Thank you ”
