Annidata nella piccola comunità di Holland, MA, Gateway to Western MA, a pochi minuti dal confine con il Connecticut e dalle rotte 84 e 90, questa accogliente casetta è il luogo perfetto per divertirsi in famiglia. Puoi goderti la pesca, il nuoto, il kayak e il pedalò, i pasti all'aperto e il nostro focolare. Ti invitiamo a portare la tua barca per legare al nostro molo. Può ospitare comodamente 5 persone (letti queen size, letti a castello e letti a castello), e c'è un divano futon completo nella sala da sole schermata, che tra l'altro include una zona pranzo e una vista sul lago. La casa dispone anche di un appartamento suocera con una sala tv, angolo cottura e il 2 ° bagno completo con lavanderia. Abbiamo acquistato la casa a dicembre 2014 e gli aggiornamenti includono l'aggiunta del 2 ° bagno completo, lavatrice / asciugatrice, nuovi arredi, biancheria da letto, asciugamani e stoviglie, oltre a molti miglioramenti cosmetici. La nostra casa sul lago è "nuova e migliorata" per la prossima stagione!

Il vicino Holland Market è perfetto per gli acquisti dell'ultimo minuto e Diane's Villanova e The Traveler Restaurant offrono cibo delizioso in ristoranti per famiglie. Sturbridge è a pochi minuti per il divertimento di una giornata di pioggia o un cambio di passo: Old Sturbridge Village, un museo vivente che ricrea la vita nelle zone rurali del New England tra il 1790 e il 1830; cucina raffinata e familiare, shopping, cinema, antiquariato e altro ancora.

Lake house

Great place to stay. Loved the lake. The kids could hang out on the dock and swim all day. Nice quit neighborhood to enjoy family and relax.

Family vacation

This is the second time we have stayed here. Our family loves the lake and everyone is friendly. There was a lot of fishing, 4 pound bass was the winner! The guys went golfing and we all tried mini golf. We brought our kayaks but there are some there for you to enjoy! Perfect relaxing meals on porch. It was an all around great vacation!

Amazing stay

Where do I even start. This lake house was so cute. Clean and comfortable. The decor was cute, and the lake access was amazing. We used the Kayaks a few times and swam almost every day we were there. The neighbors were friendly and waved as they boated on by us on our little floats in the lake. There were plenty of dishes and kitchen supplies including a cabinet full of spices and other odds and ends stuff. The shower had great pressure, and having 2 bathrooms with 5 people was a plus. We were close enough to the highway for easy access to go traveling, but we never felt like it was anywhere near us while we were at the house or on the lake. I would say that if you prefer a softer bed, the Full sized one in the "mother-in-law" area was softer than the main Queen bed. My 14-year-old loved sleeping on the Futon in the sunroom and waking up to the incredible lake view every morning. Also, if you didn't know, Massachusetts has 36 unique spider species. I swear we saw them all outside the house, but that is to be expected in an area like this. We left most of them alone and they left us alone. I only reached out to the owner once to ask a question, but her response was timely and friendly. This was our first trip to New England, and we can't wait to visit the area again. Thank you so much for such an amazing place to stay!

So relaxing !

Place was very clean. Had everything we needed. we only left twice to get dinner. Views were amazing, beds were very comfortable. The dock and deck were really nice and private and comfortable ! We had a lovely week kayaking and tanning and playing games. We brought our own fire stick and switch for games and movies but there is a Roku there to sign into your streaming services. Wi-Fi was really good. Priced very well for a house right on the lake with its own dock and deck. The host was very responsive and friendly!

Quiet Holiday

Everyone in the neighborhood was kind and courteous. The house is nice and met our needs. There are some updates with nice carpet and appliances and also a few areas whoch may benefit from some TLC when time allows. The porch, with lots of windows facing the water, was a nice bonus as was the large dock. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the ability to stay for a week.

Nice location on the lake

We enjoyed fishing almost every day. Took the kayaks and pedal boat out a few times. Relaxing and refreshing. Negatives: Bedrooms were small. Tap water had a funky smell. Porch windows need to be cleaned and lots of spiders out there.

Nice Lakeside house

Nice older Lake House, right on the water. Great outdoor seating, watching boaters going by & watching sunsets. Several options, inside & out to enjoy your meals. Our Grandkids had a fantastic time in the water, the smiles on their faces were priceless, they also both fished for the first time, and both caught a fish. Kim was a great host as well, very easy to contact, and responds quickly Thank you for sharing your house with my family & I.

A hidden gem

Beautiful location and a wonderful little gem of a house. Well appointed with all we needed for a great weekend stay. Quaint waterfront location with a wonderful New England feel to it. Highly recommended.

Our Base for Brimfield

Great location on beautiful lake, with very accommodating host! Somewhat older but quaint cabin-style lakehouse with excellent recreational amenities. There were a few kitchen and bathroom items that were missing when we checked in, but we were able to purchase those at a nearby market. This was a great base for our September visit to the Brimfield Flea Market and Antique Show!

Stormy vacation

Even for a rainy stormy stay, we enjoyed Kim’s home. We loved the Brimfield flea market. Also had fun playing games on the lake view porch, which were many because of bad weather. We befriended a snapping turtle that lives near the shore. We named him Gary. The kitchen had everything we needed (except garbage bags). Maines Seafood was a treat. Lobster rolIs and ice cream! It was a nice stay. Thanks Kim
