Guest house a Holmfirth

“The rooms are small, scuff marks on wall as soon as we walked in, shame that was our first impression, It wouldn’t wipe off so needs painting , so I understand why it hadn’t been done but other than that it was clean n tidy … Breakfast ok .. location is a 4 min drive down to Holmefirth,”

“Good location, but some things could be improved We stayed at the hotel and overall had a mixed experience. The location is very good—it’s not far from the city centre and also not far from the train station, which was very convenient. The first room we were given had a double bed, which was fine as I was staying with my daughter. However, the shared shower was not working properly and there was no hot water. Thankfully, Joan was very helpful when we contacted her and arranged for us to move...

“Bright, clean room. Doors were all key-code access so easily checked in via messages.”

“I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was very dirty and clearly not properly cleaned. There were noticeable yellow stains on the wall next to the toilet in the bathroom, which was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the bedding was unhygienic and didn't feel clean at all. I definitely would not recommend staying here.”

“The cottage was lovely, clean and spacious, well equipped. Beautiful location with great views, quiet and seems remote but convenient short drive to shops.”
